It seems like only Driver has hands this year. (FYI - his fumble was his ONLY one this year).

That was his only fumble, but he had six drops this season.

I'd like to see a small, very agile and speedy receiver who can double as a KR/PR specialist. I think that would do wonders for us. As usual though, I couldn't agree more with musccy. If we had lost today, it would have been completely on the shoulders of the receivers. Rodgers played well (the INT was Jennings' fault, as he ran away from the ball after it left Rodgers' hand), the running game was bad but the same as usual so you can't say it was sub-par, and our defense was phenomenal. It is obvious that the WR's are not lacking in spirit. They WANT to do good. But for one reason or another, they are NOT. They are dropping the ball and fumbling the ball like crazy. Or not reading blocks and missing a crucial 1st down (cough...Jordy...cough). They need to step up next weekend, or they're going home.

Get some little dude with hands. Or a big dude with hands. I don't care. Just somebody who can catch the damn ball.

I "think"

Jennings had two drops that should been catches, one would have been a Td

I just do not understand why the Packers do not run behind Sitton and Quinn Johnson.

Start Johnson @ FB and run Kuhn and Starks at HB on the right side behind Sitton. Jackson is a third down back, I just do not get why he is still starting at rb.

if the Pack could run out of this formation (Kuhn/Starks & Johnson) and mix in some play action, it could add a new dimension to the Packer offense.

even on short running plays, it is very rare to see #45 & #30 in the same backfield at the same time.

IMO if GB wants to run the ball, Quinn Johnson needs to be on the field, he is like another OG.

I actually disagree. I think that with the exception of Driver (most games), our receivers show little to no spirit at all, Jones and Jennings in particular. On that interception, the DB was fighting for the ball, laying out for it. On the replay, it looked like Jennings barely put any effort to get to the ball and simply gave up on it.

I mean, it wasn't a very pretty game...

...but this is one of the dumbest-assed posts I've read since Sept 14, 2008.

Give me a fucking break, dude. Yeah. Right. Jennings has no spirit. Keep watching that replay and tell me Jennings in any way could have broken his stride. Watch the catches he made and tell me he didn't fight for every inch. Watch how happy he is on the sidelines when any great play is made. Watch how disappointed with himself he was after his missed catch. He's a freakin' human, he'll make mistakes. Just like every other great player in the league since the beginning of history. What an unbelievable crock of hyperbolic nonsense (not that I can't relate to making those kinds of statements, but holy hell, dude. And y'all accuse me of talkin' silly shit? FFS). IMHO, if you're not on the field and in the locker room every week with these guys you have no right to talk about their "spirit".

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

You act as though I base my judgment on a single play this season. Maybe it's you writing a dumb post.

nonstop has been saying this all season long in many threads ...NOT just tonight, and I agree.

Jones and Driver have been two of the biggest 'violators.' Both can catch the blindfolded 1-handers, but lob them a softball and you better cross your fingers.

I don't question the talent of this group, but their focus, passion, intensity, SOMETHING is lacking and is damn near costing this team games. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Jennings have a would-be TD drop vs. Det as well?

There are no excuses for the dropped passes. That's on the WRs. In addition, Jordy Nelson had a chance to convert his screen pass into a first down. I dont know what happen there. He took a poor angle maybe, but it sure looked like he ran straight for the sideline. That is unacceptable in this type of game.

you're right about Jordy's drive killer, Porky. Ran straight into the DB.

Also I was going to comment on the INT. Whether or not Greg would have broken up the int, generated a penalty, or even caught it are debatable and IMO moot points. He never broke TO the ball, much like Jones didn't a few weeks back on the costly int vs. the Pats.

This lends credence to nonstop's point about the WRs questionable effort at times.

Lolz.

Have you guys considered applying to SI or NFL Network? 'Cause this is just brilliant, brilliant analysis. I'm going to go ahead and say that I agree with your assessment and that every time somebody makes a mistake it is because they're just not trying hard enough. Now somebody give me a cookie.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.
