Pat Ruel , languishing with the Seattle Seahawks.

We should have fired Campen and got him when we had a chance.

I'm still trying to figure out a way to get him, somehow...And if you guys think we could get Bostad, I got no problem with that, either.

What's Mike Sherman doing these days? I'd love to have him coach the O-Line.

I put a lot of the blame on predicibility. Defenses are just always pass rushing, it is like being down by 30 in the 4th qtr. Our opponents have their ears pinned back the entire game. There is nothing to slow them, that is very tough on Oline.

There is a reason that the team winning has a habit of dominating in the pass rush late.

Nah, its not the OL coach, its the GM! Always blame the GM, that's the smart thing to do. Get with it.

I don't know how good they're doing, but I did see it.

Yeah, they started off really slowly(just like his teams in GB oddly enough) at 3-3 and many fans wanted him fired and there was talk that they were going to fire him. After that though, he made a QB switch, they went 6-0(including wins over top 10 ranked teams Nebraska and Oklahoma) and are at 9-3 and headed to the Cotton Bowl against LSU.

Now fans love the guy, and think he is the right man for Texas A&M. Remember, the program was way down when he took it over and he has completely resurrected it. It is a very similar situation with Bo Pelini at Nebraska. They were down for a long time, and now he has them back in the national picture. Same deal with Sherman.

FIRE TED THOMPSON!!!!!!!

Three weeks ago the O-line was playing pretty damn good, now all of a sudden they have been terrible since Ted Thompson was made GM?

Look, like him or not Colledge was solid a LG, he went out,Ended up with lang, an O-line needs to stay intack to be successful.

let's wait and see what happens in New England, before firing everyone, Packers will match up better across the line than they did against Lions, whatever happens, Packers will go down fighting!!!

James Campen didnt mince words when it came to assessing the play of his offensive linemen in the Packers 7-3 loss at Detroit on Sunday.

Campen chalked it up to things like footwork, hand placement and pad level, the latter of which was both a problem in the running game and on some of the bull rushes that created pressures and sacks.

I've had issues with James Campen "coaching" the zone blocking scheme since day one. If I remember correctly he was part of a more power o offensive line and he never played in ZBS, ever. He had one year of tutelage for ZBS.

I do not feel he's qualified for ZBS coaching.

I would rather us go Power O, with or without Campen coaching.

I think I was excited about the ZBS at first...it dwindled mighty fast.

OL should smack, punch, slam, and just all out fuck up DL's, period. Screw athletic OL. Give me some fat ass porky guys who when they walk into an all you can eat buffet the owner cries as he watches his bottom line erased.

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
