I agree, Trippmeister. Taylor was a true RB.
Hornung was more versatile. He could run, pass, kick, do it all.
Taylor only ran the ball. But he was a real load to bring down!

Taylor -- greatest running back in Packer history.

Suffice it to say, I grew up in the dark ages...

I was stuck with whatever sports coverage the local TV and newspapers provided. I was a little boy when the ice bowl was played. I was watching it on TV and grabbed my camera on the TD run because I wanted a picture of it to keep in my room. I was shocked when the film (yes, no digital cameras) came back from the developer and the TV looked like it was turned off. Being a kid, I hadn't realized the flash would wash out the picture tube. lol

One could argue that much of both backs success was due to the men lined up in front of them.. so I will break the debate.. they both were overrated.
