Well, see, little buddy, I grew up in a time with no boats, no lights, no motorcars, not a single luxur...oops, channelling the wrong geezer...
Take 2...well, young whippersnapper, I grew up in a time when I had to watch the Packers play TV barefoot, in the snow, up-hi...wait, I'm getting that mixed up with another story...
Try again...Well, son, I grew up in a time with NFL only on 1 network, only on Sundays, no AFL teams merged into the NFL (heck, AFL didn't even exist, either), no internet, no on-line newspapers, no cable TV, no Packershome.com...Aaaaaggghhhh!!! that's enough of that!
Suffice it to say, I grew up in the dark ages...
I was stuck with whatever sports coverage the local TV and newspapers provided. I was a little boy when the ice bowl was played. I was watching it on TV and grabbed my camera on the TD run because I wanted a picture of it to keep in my room. I was shocked when the film (yes, no digital cameras) came back from the developer and the TV looked like it was turned off. Being a kid, I hadn't realized the flash would wash out the picture tube. lol
