I am planning on going to the game on dec 26th. was hoping someone could give me some info on where would be the best place to stay. Last time I stayed at the Hilton next to F### sticks steakhouse, but its my understanding that you can only stay there if you purchase tickets through the fan tour people and I don't want to go through them again. Any info or advice would be much appreciated.

Your best bet is just to stay in Appleton. It will take a while to get back due to traffic, but it's where you can get affordable rates.

But he is right, hotels IN green bay will be expensive as hell, probably best to stay a little bit outside of GB (such as appleton).

Whatever you do, DO NOT stay at the Motel 6 in Green Bay.
We got a room for the night after the Dallas game, and found roaches in our room.
Needless to say, we ended up driving home after the game instead of staying the night.
