all i can say is...wow. this is a team in complete disarray that no longer believes in itself. the swagger from last year is gone...in a bad way. they need a clear leader to pull them out of this but i guess they don't have one.

Good point. With an ageing roster built for a SB run (ha!) they should be full of veteran players with leadership qualities. We have the 4th youngest roster in the NFL at the start of the year (probably younger now having lost guys like Tasuch etc) and I can name a number of blue chip character guys who would be in the locker room.

It probably starts with the coach and the QB. Lose respect for them and the whole ship starts to sink.

They are a team full of individuals. Not teammates. Favre sets the bar with his selfishness. Everyone is following suit.

Hardships bring out peoples true character. It can inspire people to "circle the wagons" and have each others backs. It can cause people to just take care of number one and throw each other under the buss.

I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.
