At the game Sunday night the Packers chose to introduce the starting defense. They, one by one, ran out of the tunnel and through the all of the Packer flags and Ambassadors (I think that is what they are called.) to the rest of the team while their photo was up on the big board and the crowd cheered.
I didn't think much about it until now but Chillars was announced along with the rest of the starting defense. Granted he plays most of the downs during the game and he deserves the recognition. I was just a little surprised.
Officially Hawk, Matthews, Bishop and Zombro were the starters. Since the NFL front office controls so much of the game I am surprised they have not stated that a team can only have 11 players be recognized before the game.
