Dungy is a man of his word. If he is saying he has no desire to return then he doesn't.

My problem with Dungy isn't his coaching ability because his record speaks for itself and Trip you are correct about people being ignorant. My problem with Dungy is that he presents himself as this mild mannered intellectual but yet his defenses were nothing short of dirty football. That whole Tampa 2 defense is predicated on standing up the ball carrier and everyone come in and take a cheap shot a millisecond before the whistle blows. John Lynch was a master at it. I'd rather a coach using these tactics just be what he his and not fake it. The only thing I could compare this to is when Isiah Thomas led his "Bad Boys" with an angel face and black soul.

And it won't happen. Because dude won't coach again - he's said it repeatedly and I believe him.

Other things that won't happen in the Land That Won't Pay For A New Football Stadium: Cowher, Gruden, et al. Why? Stadium. Minnesotans won't pay for it, and none of the big names that get discussed are going to bother hitching their horse to a doomed franchise.
