I think it that it should be illegal for any man over the age of 25 to wear a team jersey unless it is on that teams game day.
Under 25- Open season on any team jersey on any day.

I'm sure Dhaze does what I do to a large extent.
He is in Steelers country, and would wear his Packer jersey in a sea of black.
I only wear my Packer jersey when I go to my local watering hole in Harrisburg, PA.
It is a total mish-mash of team affiliations. We are located within reasonable proximity to many NFL teams, and also are pretty much equal distance from both the Steelers and the Eagles, and that intra-state rivalry is strong. We have an equal number of "Steeler" bars as we do "Eagle" bars in this area.
My bar is a "Steeler" bar, mostly...but on Sundays, you will see fans for just about all of the teams, and we all identify ourselves by the jerseys we wear, which is quite convenient for the good-natured smack that we all talk amongst each other.
Many of these (mostly) guys started out coming there not wearing any jersey. They witnessed how much fun we were all having with the smack-talk, so nowadays you will see that almost everyone has on one kind of jersey or another...
For me, it is one hell of a lot different than sitting around with everyone in the same jersey. I don't think there is anything wrong with that, mind you-- I'm just telling you that what I get to experience is one hell of a lot of fun.
I would imagine that DHazer would tell you pretty much the same thing, except he would be a lone wolf in that sea of black, and that has it's advantages in the entertainment department as well.
I know what conversations to have with the different fellas I might see in that bar during non-game days too. You talk shit with some guy wearing his Redskins jersey on a Sunday, for example, you have a tendency to remember the guy and continue the dialogue, talk smack, commiserate, etc. In other words, become friends.
I wear a Packer baseball cap a lot around here, and it is often the impetus behind a conversation that gets a start. A jersey would do the same thing, (during the week), so while I do not wear one, I would vote that you do not outlaw it. :tongue3:
