The injuries weren't bad until Clay Matthews, Jermichael Finley, and Ryan Pickett all went down in the same game. Those injuries, and especially the one to Matthews, have led to two overtime losses to teams the Packers probably would've beaten otherwise.

The Vikings have suffered greatly from the loss of Sidney Rice. Everyone agrees on that. So I don't agree with your implication that nobody is giving Brad Childress any excuses for injuries.

That is what they announced on the Packers Radio Network prior to the game. Since I was in the car, I wasn't able to look it up to see what they meant. I presumed they were referring to yardage given up.
