I now see the gag in the thread title.. but damn how can one not be proud of the effort this team puts out each week...

We have a laundry list of down guys.. kids stepping in all over the place and the veterans on this team pouring it all out on the field.

Can't be prouder of the effort of this team.. said it in another thread.. if things settle just a bit for this club.. this team may put this couple game stretch in the rear view mirror as they start to win games.

Team has a ton of heart.

I'm proud of the defense, that's it. And without key injuries it's a different outcome.

The offense on the other hand...
People say Aaron has happy feet...yeah, I'd have happy feet too, knowing I'm going to get hammered shortly, and I mean shortly. Not excusing his lackluster play, because well, he's playing lacklustery-ish-ningly. But yeah, happy feet...understandable imo.

As someone said earlier...the receivers, are ANY of them playing with heart and fire...no, they drop good balls...."oops, sorry"...big smile. Whatever!

Francios lined up illegally...the refs can't be blamed. Face it...we had one of the stupidest calls I've ever seen in my life called FOR us, even after review!!!!! So not the refs fault that people still don't know the rules of lining up on STs.

Through all the gloom and doom anxd who is us, The Packers are 3-3 and hopefully have much needed help on the way.

2 tough losses will be forgotten about when packers turn their season around.

I don't know idf anyone has looked but the best record in the NFC is 4-2(5 teams), with 10 games left on the schedule, hell the real season hasn't begun yet.

Vikings game is now more important than it was 3 weeks agao, but it is not a season ending game.

The Packers are what their record shows they are right now a :500 team. Getting real tired of statements like "we just got beat by an inferior team".

Hell, especially this year in the NFC, the difference between a very good team(there are no "Elite" nfc teams), and a really bad team is almost non-existant.

Parody has really come to the NFC this year, Packers have been broi\ought down some by injuries, but their overall play is not at the level it was at the end of last year.

Packers have plenty of time to right the ship, IMHO it will start this week!!

GO PACK!!!

Wow your digging deep! :onfloor: Just kidding. Good for you; I wish I could still believe.

The fact of the matter is they have yet to play well through 4 quarters of a single game. Now the injuries continue to pile up and, as a result, the window of opportunity for a comeback in coming to a close, regardless of schedule strength.

Doesn't the whole injury thing assume that the team was really good before the injuries?

It'd be one thing if a team is on fire and then injuries hit but we wern't that good when we were "healthier" either. Now this injury thing just masks our weaknesses. Because things get blamed on injuries rather than on play or coaching.

For example Bears game, injuries had nothing to do with the intentional grounding, Jones fumble and then Mike McCarthy wasting timeout with that challenge.

Or having the ball three times in OT over two games to win and you lose both games - even with injuries, you expect to score at least once in three OT possessions, you just need a FG. Come on maaaaaaaaaaaaaan!

We've lost three out of four after winning two of three before injuries. I think winning means you're better than if you lose. I'm probably wrong on that one though.

I think we all believed the Packers were over-hyped from the start. Pundits made it seem like we were gonna walk over every team, every game. I strongly felt we'd win the Super Bowl, barring any major injury to a key starter. That hope/claim = done. We'll be lucky to get into the playoffs at all.

true the refs caused last weeks loss; but injuries - starting RB, one of the best TEs in the game, matthews (one of the best pass rushing OLBs in the game), our starting safety, barnett (our best ILBer and our team leader for the D), harris (one of the best coverage guys), Our Dline - do we have one anymore?

anyways - ya Im frustrated too but can only ask so much of our team without the key components ...

I think we at least have a chance once we get matthews and harris and bigby back ... btw why again does jolly get a years suspension and rosthli-raper get what 4 games?
