I don't think the lack of YAC is due to the ball being thrown downfield too often. I think it's due to the receivers not having time to get separation because the pass blocking sucks. The lack of time for Rodgers to throw means that the DBs can sit on the short routes. And maybe the receivers are at fault too. Maybe they are just not doing as good a job at getting open. Even when Rodgers extends the play, they usually can't get very open.

Great post by the OP. We need to be able to sustain clock eating drives that result in points. Quick passing is very likely our missing key. (ok, that and a good Oline.)
