Last i heard, Rodgers will miss some practice time. I haven't heard anything yet that he will miss any games.
I think they really don't know yet. He has to go through tests with a neorologist this week. That is what will show where he is at.

I know how this is going to sound, but I am going to say it anyway.

Are our players soft? I mean, what happened to playing thru pain? Barnett is a LB, I just don't see a wrist injury ending someone's season. And yes, I do know it ended Urlacher's last year too and I thought the same thing.

I don't know, but Matthews and Lee seemed to be minor, maybe our Dr.s are too cautious? Maybe I'm crazy and jumping to conclusions.

I don't know about Donald Lee's injury but I think Barnetts is more of a thing about being able to use his wrist properly after football or getting it fixed now and missing some games. Clays is a chronic hamstring injury so you keep him out for a game or so or you risk losing him for multiple weeks - pick your poison.

How are you supposed to play through a torn up knee like Burnett? Dude can't run on that? Or Barnett, who likely has troubling moving his entire arm?

It's not like these are piddly scratches and bumps. These are seriously henious injuries that if normal mortals such as you and I suffered from them, we'd be screwed for a good long time, if not permanently.

So, cut the guys some slack I'm saying.

The problem is, we have lost SEVERAL important players. Back ups are just that, back ups. If they were as good as the starters, they would have been starting.
Finley.....his loss is HUGE. Look how many big plays he made before this last game? He changed the games he was in. I don't care how many good players you have, losing one that was a major part of your offense is gonna hurt ALOT.
If CM3 is out AT ALL< our D is screwed. We saw the difference from when he was playing yesterday to when he was out. Night and day.
Put all the players together that we have lost, and i don't know if we can overcome it. We lost to a lousy team yesterday. NEVER should have happened. So what does that say about us? Sure, we are 3-2.......but i see this as the "crossroads". Either we get our S**T together now, or kiss the season goodbye. A losing streak now will kill any thoughts of post season play. And let's face it......if we were in the playoffs right now, we woulod be "one and done". It's time for the big boys to start earning their pay. Get their collective heads out of their butts and start playing up to potential.
JMO of course....for what it's worth.

This is what it is, period. It's time guys started picking it up.

The OL better start playing their best football, NOW.

Two other guys HAVE to pick it up. Driver and Jennings. Driver holding onto the dang ball and Jennings coming out from wherever he's been and catching one once in awhile.

The defense has to hang in there until people get healthy and boy we have to have Mathews out there. He makes the whole team better.

I was thinking last night with Harris coming back we could probably move Woodson around more and bring him off the corner. Bigby too. He ain't great at everything but the guy can come up and tackle and when they send him good things happen.

With all these guys out Capers needs to look at some of the things teams like the Jets bring which is anybody from anywhere at times. Not all the time or anything radical but extra pressure packages to help the guys out back there.
