I figured we might as well look for SOME positives, and today further illustrated just how good CM3 is. The difference in the pass rush was night/day when he was out...there are still 11 games to go, but he has to be the clear cut favorite in the league for DPOY so far (DPOM, then followed up w/ today's performance).

Bedard, I believe, reported that it was a slight pull. It's not supposed to be as bad as the one he had in preseason, but it's not worth risking losing him for 29 days again.

Wow. What an impact one player can make. The duo of Jenkins and Matthews are absolutely amazing. You double one, the other gets to your QB.

You try to get cute and double both of them and you let a center and guard (maybe another guard in max prot.) handle Pickett and Raji on their own. Especially with Raji's rushing skills, that's a bad idea, as well.

If you take either Matthews or Jenkins out, the whole thing crumbles away.

I've been impressed immensely. I was wrong. Very wrong. I wanted Oher over Matthews. I thought Matthews would be nothing more than a compliment for a real OLB. He's been absolutely dominating, though.

Matthews Raji Jenkins. Cannot double them all. With any one of them, especially Jenkins/Matthews, the rush dies. Moving Raji was a great decision by Capers.

The stats say he only had 1.5 sacks, but I could have SWORE that he had at least 3....and I was at the game.

Was I seeing things?

First one was stolen because they called it an aborted play so no sack credited. Another taken away from Woodson penalty. should have had 3.5 today.

I don't see why it was an aborted play....I guarantee you that McNabb would have thrown it if he had a chance.

Yeah, that seems like another stupid rule to me. A defensive player tackled the QB in the backfield. Who cares how or why that happened. SACK!

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
