I have a a bunch of autographs on a restaurant menu from 1967 in Los Angeles where a family member says they stayed at the same hotel as the Packers. Lombardi, Starr, Kramer, Nitschke...Does anyone know what hotel they stayed at? Does anyone know where I should look? I'm "Googled out"! Thanks!

Could you scan the menu, upload it, and compare them to known autographs? Some people here might have authentic autographs and tell you if yours are similar.

Easy...

Google It!

Just search for the name and then "autograph" under "Images" and you can compare. Not sure if there is any one or service that will actually authenticate it without actually certifying (which they didn't used to do).

Example Search: vince lombardi autograph

Contact the Packer Hall of Fame. They will be able to give you the name and address of the hotel the Packers stayed at that weekend.

They are very good about helping with such items. They know their Packer history.

Good stuff, thanks! I know the autograohs are real, a family member collected them. What I am trying to confirm is the timing...the family member says they were collected two days before the first world championship at the hotel, but the name on the menu, "Cape Cod Room" is what I am struggling with...can't find a record of the restaurant in L.A. I will check the Packer Hall of Fame as suggested.

You're at a dead end because you are googling "Cape Cod Room" as the name of the restaurant.

That is probably the name of a banquet room inside a Hotel. This is just a guess but you might try googling Banquet rooms, Cape Cod Room, Los Angeles Hotels. That might get you somewhere.

It sounds like you have a piece of history in your hands. If you can, put some pictures of it on here so we can see it.
I have been collecting Packer signatures for quite a few years. Have quite a few of the 1960's Packers. All of which i collected myself since the 1980's.
Never had a chance to get Lombardi though.......i was only 13 when he died.
