I said repeatedly that Marshawn Lynch didn't want to come to Green Bay because there was nothing to do and he didn't want to play in the cold. I swear to God I read that more than a few times. I remember laughing saying 'haha ur in buffalo, enjoy the cold' or something to that effect.

After reading Lynch's comment that he told Desmond he'd been happy to play in Green Bay, it had me thinking... wtf where did I hear it from?

I've done a few searches and found nothing except more rumors of his eventual trade to the Seahawks.

I do not like being wrong, many don't, but I like to think I'm able to admit it when I am and I believe there is a chance I was wrong.

I am still firmly believing it was Marshawn, but I'm asking you, could it have been Willis McGahee?

Nope... I know there was some comments surround that comparing Buffalo to Green Bay.. I think around that draft day.. but I don't remember ever hearing that than beyond these forums.

I remember discussing Lynch vs AP with Porky.. lol... šŸ˜‰

Zero - You're not wrong. He said that in his draft year.

Your year was just wrong. It's 2010 now. ;)

He has obviously changed his mind since then.

(I specifically remember this as I was talking to a friend of mine who is a Niners fan. We discussed Lynch as I wanted the Packers to get him. I was bummed when the Bills got him. Lynch in several draft boards was supposed to go to the Packers and when asked by reporters, he said then that he would rather not play in GB because it's cold and there's nothing to do.

To make matters worse, we got Bustin instead of Lynch).

I think Willis said there wasn't enough to do in Buffalo.

I am guessing a lot of players say that. Tony Mandarich did as well... perhaps we should have listened to him.

Eh. I doubt you got it wrong. More probable is that he just changed his mind, or he changed his speech, meaning that he still doesn't want to be in GB but he REALLY didn't want to be in Buffalo and didn't want to be in Seattle, since he figured he'd have a better chance at winning in GB (I'm slightly biased).

If he didn't want to be in Seattle, he wouldn't be there right now. I'm pretty sure that players have to agree on where they are traded to...
