Was anyone else a little disturbed by the "trash can" voicemail message? He not only didn't take a hint that shit wasn't going to happen, but he responded to her joking comment completely seriously and got defensive about it. I don't know. Something about that voicemail bothers me. I'm not saying he's a sociopath, but he sure sounded desperate.

Anyway, this is all just proof that Good Brett has disappeared and Evil Brett has been at the helm ever since he left GB.

I was joking about evil Brett. It's a pretty old joke. And I stated that I'm NOT saying he's a sociopath.

I don't know what's funnier, the actual cock texting incident or the fans rushing to his defense.

edit----ok that was a stupid joke by me.

I'm happy to hear that you were just kidding. It would have ruined my weekend of watching Favre chucking bomb after bomb to Randy Moss

LOL @ Gravedigga calling someone a mental midget. I've never seen so much irony in one sentence as short as that.

Well, whatever happens, I just hope Favre isn't suspended for any games. Why? Well, it's been a tough year for yours truly for my fantasy team. First, I had Jay Cutler as my QB. He died last week. My other QB was Eli Manning. I got rid of him.

So now I have Brett Favre and (don't laugh) Ryan Fitzpatrick. I told you not to laugh, jerk. All the other QBs have been taken. Fitzpatrick was the best of what was left.

EDIT: Or I should have said I traded Eli Manning for Favre when I heard the rumors of Moss. I had a feeling they were more than rumors. Hope that doesn't come back to bite me in the ***.

The NFL has confirmed that it is reviewing allegations that Brett Favre sent inappropriate photos to Jenn Sterger when he was a player on the Jets and she worked for the team.

"We are reviewing the matter," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the Associated Press.

In September Aiello declined to answer when PFT asked him whether the league was looking into the story.

Two months ago, Deadspin published allegations from Sterger, who currently appears on The Daily Line on Versus, that when she was an in-house sideline reporter for the Jets, Favre sent her photos of his penis. Yesterday Deadspin published what it said were those photos, and also published what it said were voice mail messages that Favre left for Sterger.

Sterger has not commented publicly.

Favre was asked about the story on Thursday and refused to get into it, saying, "I've got my hands full with the Jets."

The NFL's confirmation that it is looking into the matter likely means that media outlets which have previously ignored the story -- especially ESPN, which will televise Monday night's game between the Jets and Favre's Vikings -- will feel compelled to acknowledge it now.

So Favre will continue to get questions like the one he got on Thursday. And the NFL will continue to get questions about whether its review of the matter turned up inappropriate conduct from one of the league's highest-profile stars.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Brett Favre's consecutive-starts streak was broken by . . . a suspension? 😃

Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
