This is without a doubt sexual harassment if the advances were unwelcome. The girl still hasn't actually commented on this publicly, so we still don't know if they were unwelcome. Even her agent says these events "allegedly" happened two years ago.

I tend to agree with Bruce Jacobs. If I were sexually harassed two years ago, I'd file charges two years ago. The fact that she waits two years to make an issue of this makes her look at the very least opportunistic and at the worst like she's totally skewing the story and engaging in a bit of self-serving revisionist history. I don't think these advances were nearly as offensive or unwelcome as she's making them out to be.

I mean . . . two years? And women wonder why they have such a hard time obtaining convictions for sexual offenses? It's not that the courts are stacked against them -- it's that they're so dumb in the way they go about prosecuting offenders.

I still haven't heard that she's pursuing it. She clearly wanted Favre and all of this to just go away, other than a few laughs with her friends to ease the tension of an otherwise awkward situation. If she pursues a case now, I'm sure it would require a decent amount of persuasion.

That's the problem. With the passage of time it's simply impossible to know what transpired. Maybe she was genuinely interested in him for a while. Maybe she was in it for the money. Maybe she simply wanted the pics for insurance. Or maybe Favre truly is an utter asshole and was shamelessly harassing her. We just can't know.

sure we can know. phone records don't just magically disappear. she has the voicemails & texts. proof. if she called him incessantly, she was actively involved in whatever the hell this is. more proof.

just as we don't know what favre's motives were - we certainly don't know what hers are either.

I would submit that even we had the complete correspondence between them, we still wouldn't know the full story. There is so much that goes on underneath the surface of a voicemail or text. I know there are messages I send that if people didn't know the inside story would probably be grossly misinterpreted.

To those that say it's "no one's business." Favre plays in a league where you are supposed to follow certain conduct guidelines. IF he did these things, he should be held accountable under the NFL rules.
But just as the linemen on the Vikings that never had to pay for what they did, the 'stars" do seem to get special treatment. Which is of course WRONG.

As was just said, "If you play, someday you will have to pay". So i won't feel sorry for him IF he did these things and got caught.
