MySpace'n, Calling, Texting, etc to a fellow co-worker who does not want the contact is wrong, no matter how you try to slice it.

Brett's innocent though, he did nothing he's accused of. You'll see, it will take its course.

That's a problem with the Favre's. Not with us.

It's just like as long as Bill Clinton didn't rape anyone, I defended Bill Clinton. Of course, not his policies as you know I'm a gun nut and hated his gun ban.

But he fooled around with interns. The Clinton's problem, not ours.

French, Italian, and Russian media were making fun of us for being a bunch of prudes. I agree with them.

We are at war right now. Why is someone's sexuality news while American troops are getting shot at?

Zero - Yes. I may have to find a new fantasy QB. I got Favre, Cutler, Fitzgerald, and Henne right now. Yikes.

Favre is what he is, and to be honest has always been.. a throwback player both on and off the field.

If we want to judge so morally upon this subject.. then we better look at Paul Hornung and Max Magee.. legendary Packers with some less than righteous pasts. This is just getting blown up with today's communication age.. all things are open and disclosed like it or not.

The only sticking point in this is the harassment angle.. and I don't care whom it is, if he unwanted harassed this female, regardless of how hot or whatever.. isn't right and should be punished if he is guilty of it. Hence the NFL investigation.. really all we have publicly at this point is one side of the story, honestly I have more faith in the NFL investigative prowess than any branch of governmental ability. They will get the bottom of it, because there are billions at stake.

Personally, we can talk about Brett's indiscretions, make personal judgments upon them, but really the only one that has a chip in that game in his wife and kids. Really, this crap happens in our society at an alarming rate.. all this does is make more of the case that Brett is nothing more than mortal. Flawed.

All that taken into context.. dude can still play on the field.. and due process with take care of the off field issues.

If I had to wager.. Jenn gets a nice check in her account to gag her cooperation with the NFL and kind of shut her up.. I don't like that is how America works.. but in reality that is how it works.

Be interesting to see if she does cooperate... does Goodell have the nuts to suspend the legend? Or does he find an area of gray to make it go away.

+1 Pack. Well said.

This case may be slipped under the rug. Totally unscientific here, but I've been to bars almost every week. 2010 has been DEAD, except for last night.

Banning Favre for X weeks may cost the NFL a lot of money.

What Pack93z said though. Said it better than I could.

So what if what Zombie says is true that NFL wont suspend him cuz of lost money it once again shows that certain players get special treatment which is wrong

Do you really think it was all unwanted though? Would someone really be crazy enough to send three seperate random pictures of their stuff without any contact from the other side? I agree Favre is weird but even he isn't that weird (well at least I hope not).

My assumption, they had an affair, thats why she hasn't come out pubically because Favre is married. I don't think it was harassment or whatever, just plain adultery, which is not suspension worthy - that should not be the NFL's business.

I think Favre will admit to the affair to Goodel and so will Jenn and they will say they don't have enough evidence to prove harrassment, therefore Favre gets a fine.

I'd rather be entertained than worry about the League's policing. If Favre sits out against the Packers for suspension, that'd suck, you want to beat them at their best and you want entertainment. I would assume and hope the NFL takes into account the viewers entertainment level.

We have no idea what the Favres' private arrangement is. There may be a lot more leeway in their marriage than they let on publicly. Peyton Manning and his wife are in an open relationship (though they never comment on it publicly); so are Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. Deanna Favre has taken her husband back repeatedly despite his indiscretions; clearly they are not a deal breaker for her. Considering I was finding rumors of Tiger Woods' infidelities as early as 2005, I would guess that he and his wife also had an understanding; he could get his action on the side as long as it remained private and discreet. Like that scene in Children of Dune between Paul Atreides' concubine and true love Chani and his legal wife Princess Irulan, after Chani discovers that Irulan has been secretly administering Chani a contraceptive to prevent her from bearing a royal heir:

Chani: I should spill your water for what you've done. I know it was you, Irulan. You're the only one who could have hidden the poison. Don't lie! You will insult him if you lie.

Irulan: It is my right to bear the royal heir.

Chani: It is your duty to play a role. Nothing more.

Irulan: I am his wife!

Chani: You have his name. I am the one he calls ''wife.''

Irulan: Do you think you are the only woman who truly loves him?

Chani: No, but I am the only woman he loves.

Irulan: I could cuckold him. Dare him to expose me.

Chani: Cuckold him all you like . . . as long as you're discreet. He won't deny you. But no child, Irulan. Ever!

In other words, have your fun, but don't embarrass me. I think that was the arrangement the Woods had. You can't make me believe she didn't see all the woman throwing themselves on him every time he made a public appearance.

My assumption, they had an affair, thats why she hasn't come out pubically because Favre is married. I don't think it was harassment or whatever, just plain adultery, which is not suspension worthy - that should not be the NFL's business.

I don't fully agree. I think it's fairly obvious that she lead him on and asked for the pictures, but that doesn't mean she ever had a physical affair with him -- or even intended to. She may have simply noticed his attraction to her and seized an opportunity to make some quick cash. Pics in hand, she could sell them to tabloid sites like Deadspin, extort Favre for hush money, or both. I think that's the most probable scenario.

marital 'arrangement' or not, coming from a strictly daughter point of view, if my dad's showin his junk, texting some random chick, i'm embarrassed - period, end of story. there's being a 'good ole boy' & being just creepy - THIS in my view is the latter. in his younger years, he at least had booze & pills to blame things on - now it's just yucky.
