Or you could blame Frank Zombo and his high hit.

Or DB's for failing to hang on to INT's

Or Bulaga and Sitton for letting Peppers block a chip shot FG.

Or the coverage teams that could not stay in their lanes and contain Hester.

Or the coaching staff for never seeming to take the Bears seriously.

In all honesty the illegal Zombo hit itself forced the errant throw. I'm sure a replay would clear that up for you.

Hard to disagree with the other points, though I'd put more blame on Masthay himself for that first punt (at least he made the tackle).

Actually the Packers were still in the lead after Jones' two fumbles in '07.

The Bears were opportunistic, and the Packers were in a giving mood. It was a bad combination. Maybe things will all go right for the Bears like it did in '06 and they'll get to the Super Bowl, but I doubt it.

Gotta feel for Jones. He made some really strong plays tonight. Can't believe the way that ball bounced -- hit the ground and never even thought about going OB.

This is a tough one. There are literally a dozen painful situations from this game.

Better win next week.

We'll beat them at Lambeau. Still, just don't think MM has it.

True on the coaching staff not taking the Bears seriously or at least not as seriously as the Bears take the Packers.

I think James Jones needs to learn how to secure the football. There is no excuse for fumbling the football in that situation.

How do you measure something like this without aid of your gut? This claim may or may not be true -- how exactly does someone prove it though? Honest freaking question -- don't read too much into the perceived meaning.

How can you quantify a statement like that?

It would be hard to argue that the outcome of the game was a matter of effort. It could, however, be more less boiled down to some boneheaded plays.

I wouldn't say they didn't take the game seriously. They being the Packers.

However, Brian Urlacher talked about how this is the biggest game since the Bears played in the Super Bowl and I think I can come to the conclusion that the Bears wanted this one or at least treated it differently than the Packers.

Personally, based on last week's mic up soundbites, Packers are probably more worried about the Vikings than the Bears or at least they were.
