There are dozens of older movies that I love.
Key Largo
African Queen
Maltese Falcon (or other Bogart movies.)
Mr Smith Goes to Washington
Rear Window
North By Northwest (Jimmy Stewart movies.)
Mr Roberts
12 Angry Men (Henry Fonda movies)
High Noon
Sgt York (Gary Cooper)
plus Clark Gable, Cary Grant, James Cagney, Spencer Tracy and of course The Duke.
I never get tired of watching them.
More contemporary films are Schindler's List and The Green Mile.
I love movies. I go down the the satellite's tv guide looking for movies. If I don't see one I usually turn it off or go to netflix thru the wii.

North by Northwest - I remember this one being a James Bond film before James Bond. Awesome movie.
I finally saw it in the theater. Oakland has a nice Art Deco theater that plays a lot of old movies. It was a special screening and Eva Marie Saint's daughter and soon to be hubby were in the audience. Eva Marie Saint herself couldn't make it but she did leave a note for them to read before the movie started.
She noted two mistakes in the movie, one which was quite funny. The funny one was when Saint's character shoots Carey Grant, a boy in the restaurant covers his ears before the shooting. I must have seen the movie 5 times before and never caught that mistake until she pointed it out.
