I suppose it's up to the Vikings as much as Favre. Childress may not want him back. I don't know why, as he is the reason or the main reason why they got as far as they did, but their styles don't mesh that well.

I refuse to guess what he'll do. Those hits he took in this game were pretty nasty.

It's funny, he said he knew exactly what he was going to do before this game and now he's not sure. I pretty much thought he had his mind up that he'd play again but after those hits, man you almost have to take time to think lol.

Naturally. The Saints gave the entire league a nasty blueprint for how to brutalize him and disrupt his game.

I've been saying he was done for good for three years, so now I'm changing my tune.

I think he will say he's coming back, then he'll nurse his ankle injury through OTAs, training camp, and maybe the first pre-season game, then pick it up again. The man can obviously still play. The totality of the game last night, interception and all, show that he's the same old Favre. The Vikings would be stupid not to accept him back under whatever terms he desires.

Tarvaris Jackson vs Aaron Rodgers. It's about your other options here. The Packers had one, the Vikes don't.

There's one other thing to consider. All you had to do was hear quotes from Deanna and watch her during the game last night to see what this continued drama is doing to her. He can obviously still play, but his body WILL break down, I guarantee it. It'll just get worse and worse to watch.

This is true, of course. But I'm tired of being sure he'll retire and then having him retire and then having him unretire. So, fuck it. He's coming back. That's how I'm dealing with it this offseason.

Mucky Tundra (27-Dec) : The Seattle Seahawks defeat the Chicago Bears 6-3. Jason Myers had 6 RBIs for Seattle while Cairo Santos had 3 RBI for Chicago
beast (27-Dec) : Not nessarily, he might of been injured either way. He's playing about 50% of the games the last 4 years
Zero2Cool (26-Dec) : If they'd been more patient with him, he'd be back already. Putting him out there vs Bears caused him to tweak it and here we are.
packerfanoutwest (26-Dec) : well this is his last season with the PAck, book it
beast (26-Dec) : Sounds like no Alexander (again), I'm wondering if his time with the Packers is done

packerfanoutwest (24-Dec) : both games Watson missed, Packers won
Martha Careful (24-Dec) : I hope all of you have a Merry Christmas!
Mucky Tundra (24-Dec) : Oh I know about Jacobs, I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to mimic Zero lol
buckeyepackfan (24-Dec) : Jacobs was just sat down, Watson re-injured that knee that kept him out 1 game earlier
buckeyepackfan (24-Dec) : I needed .14 that's. .14 points for the whole 4th quarter to win and go to the SB. Lol
Mucky Tundra (24-Dec) : Jacobs gonna be OK???
Zero2Cool (24-Dec) : Watson gonna be OK???
packerfanoutwest (24-Dec) : Inactives tonight for the Pack: Alexander- knee Bullard - ankle Williams - quad Walker -ankle Monk Heath
packerfanoutwest (24-Dec) : No Jaire, but hopefully the front 7 destroys the line of scrimmage & forces Rattler into a few passes to McKinney.
packerfanoutwest (24-Dec) : minny could be #1 seed and the Lions #5 seed
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : We'd have same Division and Conference records. Strength of schedule we edge them
