I've said virtually everything I'm going to say about this game itself in another thread.
I'll only add two things here.
1. That my sympathies are out to Formo and Vikesrule. This was not the game _you_ good guys deserved. I don't mind that the Vikings lost -- I am a Packer fan, after all ๐ -- but for so many reasons, that kind of game is not the way I'd want to lose.
2. I know its tempting as Packer fans to gloat. And I'd be lying if I said I haven't done some of it. But think about what it says about us when we do. Think about when the Packers lose, and think about how you would feel if the Packers lost a game *this* way.
Good natured ribbing is fine. But think about how, after one of those Packer losses, the ribbing goes too far and becomes gloating. And think about how you might view that gloating. Think of how it reveals the true character of those particular Viking or Bear or Cowboy fans. And how what it reveals is not pretty.
The world has no shortage of classlessness. Packer fandom, however, is supposed to be comprised of higher life-forms. We should have.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
