The cops had a reason to be there. It may not have been a good reason, but it was a reason, meaning one or more Chargers fans probably complained and made some shit up about what the Jets fan did. At least there seemed to be some decent fans around them. I saw one guy giving the wife his phone number for a witness report, etc.

That's what got me upset. Not the fact that we didn't see anything wrong with what the guy did (noted the cut in the footage).. but that almost every Charger fan around the guy was booing the cops and yelling how he didn't do anything. Typically when an opposing team's fan is pulled out, the fans around the area cheer. Not boo.
