Now that the loss has settled, I personally am looking forward to the off-season and next year.

Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, and Jermichael Finley put on a showcase on a big stage could be primed for big years again next year. I think Finley is the most talented TE in football. He and Vernon Davis of the 49ers are going to change the position or carry the torch that Tony G and Antonio Gates have held onto for so long.

Jennings is still a very clutch player. He may of had a "down year", but that contract was worth it. He showed against Arizona that he's still very capable of rising to the occasion. Oh by the way, Ryan Grant, Donald Driver, and Jordy Nelson aren't bad.

The offensive line will need to be fixed. I like the interior guys. Josh Sitton is going to be a pretty good guard for sometime. Colledge has improved every year. He just needs to know not when to hold :)

I think T.J. Lang might be in the mix at RT. Obviously, left tackle is a concern.

Defensively, the front seven looks strong.

We'll see about the pass rusher whether it's Kampman (my opinion's been stated) or someone else. I'd like to see Collins get a deal so that can be put behind everyone.

What does everyone else hope, expect, and think?

Tackles, something needs to be done. I think Tausher has shown this year that he prefers the Packers; I'd be okay with not tagging him because I think its likely he signs again even if he hits the market.

We need to sure up our DBs. Safety is a concern, Bigby is a FA (RFA, I think), and he is just OK, once in a while will get you a big play. Martin and the other S are not good enough to be 3rd on the depth chart.

We need to sign Pickett - he is a great fit at NT. He had a really good year, and that might be putting it mildly. Otherwise, I look forward to hearing and seeing players like Wynn and Raji progress. I'd want Jolly re-signed, the dude just flat out gives you all he has. I don't want to give up an arm and a leg to get him, but he does deserve a raise. I hope he gets his legal matter resolved, and doesn't have to face NFL punishment.

Things will get intriguing with Kampman. I wonder if the Packers can actually get anything of value if they decide they want to move on. He's simply too good a football player to say 'we'll just let him walk' and not think about at least getting some compensation in return. It'll be interesting to see how this situation plays out.

I love the core make-up of this team. You've got players on the cusp of entering their prime. This year will no doubt be a learning experience, and that should be a great thing.

Draft is the next big thing Packers-wise I really care about, so I look forward to some good speculation in that area. Otherwise, I think the coaches are safe, so we won't have too much drama in that area.

I really don't want to look behind at the moment, and I'm not quite ready to look ahead...so I'm going to just stay put for about a week or so and let it all sink in. I think I need a little off season before the off season. Haha!

I love Kampan, and if we let him go, I know we'll regret it when he puts up another 10+ sack season, but he's just not a good fit in the 3-4.

We need to work on a replacement for Driver. He may have another year or so and Jordy and Jones are OK, but really just #3s without the speed/skillset to really compliment and take the pressure off of GJ.

We need to work on replacing Woody and Harris too...entering mid-30s and I don't have a lot of confidence in the new guys eventually stepping up. I thought Tramon would develop, but I think he's too short. Fine at nickle, but it's been about 3 years, and still don't trust him as a shut down.

Otherwise, bascially a great group, Finley, Rodgers, and CM3 poised to be STUDS!

It would be nice if we not cut players that produce.

I really think Anthony Smith and Tyrell Sutton would've added new dimensions to our football team. Great teams have many ways to beat you, and both these guys could've done something.

We should of traded Kamp last off season. Unless we can sign Collins / Pickett we can always franchise him and trade him for a quality player. It's sad to lose a player like Kampman for nothing.

I have said all along that this team didn't need to win a playoff game for Thompson to stay in my esteem. However, after yet another embarrassing performance by the offensive line yesterday (Rodgers was sacked twice and hit four times in his first 10 dropbacks alone), I do have this to say: Shoring up our offensive line better be as big a priority for Ted Thompson this year as shoring up our defense was last year, or I just might begin to reconsider my seat on the ever-bumpy ride that is his bandwagon. I've said repeatedly that I don't trust this team in big games, and this game was an illustration of why.

But I trust the man. I think he'll get it done. If we get even a decent offensive line next year, one that lets our team get out of the gate quickly in both halves, the Packers will be a truly terrifying team to gameplan against.

O-line is a major concern tho I agree we need at least two quality players on this line.

Our top 2 picks should be: CB - O-line

Zero2Cool (1h) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (15h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (15h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
