Sorry to have you watch this again:

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/09000d5d815a5501/Cards-pull-it-out

Michael Adams, the player who was the most penalized in the game.. applys pressure on Rodgers causing a fumble.

Even if the play WAS ruled a forward pass, it would of been a turnover.. an interception, as the ball never hits the turf.

But back to the clip/play -did the refs NOT see the hands to the face?

Here's why it was such a big NON-CALL:

1- It disabled Rodgers from recovering his own fumble -- he was forced down by his mask.

2- Without the facemask.. does Rodgers still end up kicking the ball into the hands of Dansby?

I have a question for you guys.. if the facemask penalty IS called.. do the Cards get the ball right there in our territory? I'm assuming that if there was facemask contact before the ball came out (that's what it looked like), then we keep the ball and get a first down...Am I right? and if the officials claim that the ball was out BEFORE the facemask.. the Cards still have to kick a FG with a kicker who's confidence just took a huge hit.

Sooo upsetting..

Post your thoughts.

Where is the "None of the above" option?
I'm not much of a football fan once my Pack are out...

First I voted for NO. We didn't play them so I am not mad at them this year.

As for the facemask. The hands to the face occurred officially before the change of possession so it would have been our ball 15 yards down field.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Look at NFL.com

The picture is Rodgers getting facemasked on the last play. Ugh.

As long as Minnesota doesn't win the Super Bowl, it doesn't matter. Colts, Chargers, Saints, Cardinals -- I don't care. Just not the Vikes.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

Says "Instant Classic" with that pic. GREAT, just another Packers losing game that they'll replay over and over again on the NFL network. Could we JUST ONCE win one of those "Classics"??

You want to finish your career here?
Favre: "Definitely. If in two years, say, they want to trade me, I'd probably walk away. Retire."

We would have a first and ten and the ball.

The refs are in a tough spot there. If you don't make the call, nobody says anything. If you make the call, the crowd gets hostile and media wouldn't like it either, but it probably leads to a rule change.

Personally, I don't like the rule. I think let the guys play. QBs are humans too, but they call that nine out of ten times.

I'm rooting for good games. I can admit that seeing Favre win a Super Bowl as a Viking would be tough. If he does, he'll be remembered as a Viking as well as a Packer and I think that's BS.

The non call is pretty upsetting. More upsetting however, is that our defense laid an egg in this game. I'll try to look on the bright side, however, and remember that it is a first year defense. We've got the draft and free agency to make it even better than it has been this year. Next year we have some expectations for this team.

Defense SUCKED today. They were just like last year's D. They got destroyed. Couldn't do anything right.
Our 2 turnovers at the beginning dug a hole that we never could get out of completely.
But our D had MANY chances to "win" this game, and they all sucked BAD.

But there was no quit in our offense, and you have to give them credit. 45 points SHOULD be enough.

Oh....and if i HAD to pick an NFC team, it would be the Saints.

Zero2Cool (12m) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (3h) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (3h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (5h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (5h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (5h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (5h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (5h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (5h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (5h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (5h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (5h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (5h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (5h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (5h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (6h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (7h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (7h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (7h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (23h) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
