Forget Sundays win although it is a preview of what is to come next week.
I am not saying it will be THAT easy but the Packers are a better football team.

The Cards played four games against teams with a winning record all year and three games against teams going to the playoffs.

The Packers played seven games against teams ultimately finishing with a winning record and six games against teams in the playoffs (most in the NFC).

Maybe we should have finished 8-8. The Cards played four games against teams that finished .500 and lost all four times.

You would think the Cards would stack statistics up given the above yet the Packers clearly stand tall in the numbers game. Especially defensively where we finished 1st against the run and 5th against the pass the Cards ended up 17th and 23rd respectively.

Offensively they don't run it well (28th) and with the talent and multiple schemes we run this is a nightmare matchup for the Cardinals passing game.

On D I sense bringing the heat. The Cards realize their only chance is to get to Rodgers and my guess is McCarthy is planning schemes to pick up their blitz packages.

I look for Finley and our screens to put up big numbers.

When they are on Offense I expect the Cards to go short often and HOPE that our pass rush disrupts Warner enough that they cannot affectively go downfield consistantly.

If our D requires the Cards to chip away and earn every score I see no way of them keeping up with us.

They will try to go at us like Pitt, if they can be successful might be a loss as they have I think better talent on offense as a whole than Pitt

We HAVE to be able to stop Wells and Hightower they can tack it on at times and they scare me

I believe it will actually be our offense and their inability to stop it that will force the Cards out of trying to run the ball. Besides, our D has stopped way better running attacks all year long. Especially now with the entire Dline healthy.

I think the Cards have more to worry about in how our run game can contribute than we do with theirs.

No doubt Warner will attack the middle of the field. It won't be as easy, but I think Green Bay is a better football team. I think playing at home and the hope that Green Bay lays an egg is how the Cardinals will win this game.

When i look at this match up, the first thing i see our turnovers. They give the ball away, we take the ball away. I think if we take advantage of that we will come away with a win.

I for one think this game will get ugly like the Pittsburgh game. It could turn into a game where whichever teams offense has the ball last will win it. I have a lot of faith in our offense but I just can't see our defense stopping all their weapons. I feel like if we keep dialing up the pressure we'll have a better chance at winning but Capers seems to favor running prevent defenses in those situations. It's going to be a tough game but I don't think any team can realistically stop our offense at this point. The only way we don't put points on the board when we have the ball is if we shoot ourselves in the foot, which have done quite often this season.

This should be a Green Bay win but the problem with Arizona is that they are so freaking unpredictable. They are capable of looking like total garbage and they are also capable of looking like the greatest offense ever, unstoppable. Just depends which team shows up for Arizona. They could blow us out and we could blow them out.

I think the Packers will need to lay an egg in order for them to lose. That, plus the fact that Arizona is at home and rested and the Packers have to travel all the way to Phoenix for the second time in a week gives the Cards a mild advantage.

Green Bay is a better football team, but they could lay an egg very easily. They're due for one.

I know people are worried about the passing attack of the Cardinals. They'll have their big plays, but the problem with comparing Kurt Warner to Ben Roethlisberger is Ben can extend plays. Warner cannot. If GB pressures Warner, he could make a mistake, whereas, Ben would make the guy miss and extend the play.

The key to the game on the defensive side of the ball is to pressure Warner. Do that and Green Bay has a chance to dominate this game as long as the offense gets going.

I'll say this though. Playoff games never go the way you expect. With that in mind, both of the games might end up being sloppy and low scoring.
