That's 2 questions.

#1 - because someone high up in the NFL is a crack smoker.

#2 - I'm sure Mike McCarthy won't let his players play in the Pro Bowl so don't worry, we won't be risking injury.

Well as long as MN doesn't go to the SB, 1/2 the NFC probowl team will be available.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Why the pro bowl is going to be before the superbowl:

5. Because no one cares anyway, and this way we get it out of the way and can go to the Caribbean immediately after the Super Bowl.

4. Because, face it, Goodell is a tool.

3. This way more players (the replacements for those from the 2 super bowl teams) and their hangers-on can get a tax deduction for partying in South Beach.

2. It was a secret agreement by the White House to get the NFL to support the stimulus package.

and, the number one reason the Pro Bowl is a week earlier ...

1. So the announcers can justify fawning over Brett Favre during Super Bowl week even if the Vikings don't make it.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
