All in spite of the worst head coach in the history of football.

Heh. Just kidding. I'm not gonna have any "I told you so" moments, because even I was skeptical after 8 games. But hey, that's why you play a whole season. It's been great to see the Packers correct a lot of the early season mistakes and even greater to see Grant busting off long gains again.

As Holmgren used to say, "We're not done yet!" Still [hopefully] a lot of football left to play. No one will feel good about a first-round loss, sure. But we were 6-10 last year and now we're in the playoffs. Now let's make some noise and be another one of those Wildcard teams who play their best football at the right time.

GO PACK GO!

It was a great way to clinch, with a big win and a lot of our lesser-known players stepping up-- especially Atari Bigby, Brandon Jackson, and Ahman Green. Even Jarrett Bush had a nice interception, which made up for getting torched for 31 yards earlier in the game. Crosby was 2-2, including a 52-yarder.

Also: B.J. Raji was disruptive, Brad Jones got a sack, Brandon Chillar got a sack, and A.J. Hawk got a (gift-wrapped) interception. Except for a slow start, this was just what the Packers needed.

I think Crosby shut up some of the haters. That's the kicker that we drafted. Everyone has a slump every now and then.

Hopefully this was the end of his.

I'm really happy that he nailed the 52 yarder, in the wind.

Kicker love-fest shown on the field today. Was glad to see the team show some emotion with the entire Crosby situation. And yes, maybe game planning the left hash came into some play call decisions to help him succeed. Have the gameballs been announced yet? But all I can think about coming away from this game, 6 touchdowns by running backs today, that's a three headed monster.

Good point about the left hashmark, Tezzy. It's hard to believe they would've actually game-planned for that, but who knows? It was 38-3 at the time, so they could afford it.

Zero2Cool has preached the left hash mark, they must be reading his comment cards.

It is great to have the playoffs secured. It is really valuable for this team lead be Rodgers to get some post season experience.

I like Rodgers progression:

Season 1: Good stats, bad record
Season 2: Good stats, Playoff berth
Season 3: Good stats, Super bowl victory

The only way my prediction can be wrong is if we win the super bowl this year 🙂 The great thing is that being in the playoffs is what makes that possible.

"Were in the playoffs"? What happened . . . did we lose our berth in the last hour or so? 😛

The team started slow. For the most part, the early season wins were not very impressive. The losses were more than a little frustrating. But they seem to get their stride after the disaster in TB.
Well done GB. I was not sure you could pull it off. I am glad I was wrong.

Plus, didn't Tampa beat the Saints today? So we were not the only team that lost to them.
6-1 in the 2nd half of the season. Not too bad!

Great news!

I missed the entire game as I was on the road. I was spending Christmas with family and friends. I used to live in SoCal.

Most people don't realize this, but California is a HUGE state. Driving from SoCal to San Francisco took me all day and I drive fast.

So I come in and log in and lo and behold, we've won 48-10. I was expecting a double digit win, but not 38 points. Great news!

The only bummer about the game - I saw we picked off Hasselback 4 times and I thought Woody was going to have a pick or two and he got nothing. Dang.

Hats off to the entire team. I was seriously worried at 5-5 and getting frustrated, especially after losing to the Bucs who at that point never won a game. Then we beat the Cows and suddenly the season felt good again. :thumbright:

I'd do a shot with all of you but after that drive, I'm going to crash out early.

Once again, great news! Such awesome news to come home to. 😃
