I was upset watching this game because I think what the Cardinals did to the Vikings, the Packers could have done as well. The Packers gave Favre too much respect and the Cardinals made him and the offensive line their b*tch.

Props to the Cardinals defense because they never let down one bit. Big hits, laying out for the football, sound defense. Offensively, Warner was just spot on and it helps having two pro bowl performing wide receivers.

Minnesota is slipping!!!

Minnesota's porous secondary was exposed because Arizona's O-line manned up and took the Vikings feared foursome to the woodshed.

That is not a championship defense.

True. But the question I have is just how good is the Cardinal D? They made Favre and Peterson look like rookies last night. Was that Favre and Peterson both laying eggs or is the Arizona D really that good? If it's the latter, then it may be Arizona as the only team that can stop the Saints for the NFC Title.

I think the play calling was predictable. The Vikings had some play action going on that if Peterson would have been given the ball, there would have been some big gainers.

Yeah, the play calling was bad. Like I said in the other thread last night.. The Vikings came out looking they they expected the Cards to just lay down. There was no fire after that first TD. Cards came up to play.

And AP.. Don't even get me started. He's starting to piss me off. He's playing pedestrian this year.. because he has ZERO patience to let his blocks set up. I can't even count how many times I've seen him sprint right into the backs of his O line.

I laugh, though.. at people calling Minnesota's secondary 'porous'. They had their #1 corner out, first of all. Oh, and they had a nice rotation at that same position, including a rookie (Ashur Allen). Oh, and they were facing the best WR corp IN THE NFL. Their secondary had good coverage all night long, with the exception of the Fitz TD.

I'll agree with you, though, that what hurt the secondary was not their 'lack' of coverage skills. It was that the front 4 pass rushing was nonexistent. Again, they came out with no fire after that first TD. It was like the whole damn team put on cruise control and expected no fight from the Cards.

Again I say, congrats to the Cards. They completely deserved that win, 100%.

It's how I see it. A lot of people think I evaluate with purple goggles on. I don't. I watch with the goggles on, but after the fact, I'm pretty objective. This is the first time this year that the Vikings were flat out beat.

read it

On the second, Favre acknowledged he was so enraged by a rough sack on the previous play that he simply gunned the ball downfield with no regard to the coverage.

Ummmmm WTF??????

You just gunned it with out regards to anything? That is something that a HOF should NEVER do....

They (Minny) could have scored on that play and might have been a different outcome...But he let his anger get the best of him...

That makes me think, how many times in GB did he just toss it with out caring?

This is news?!

Good God dude, I remember watching Favre's last 5-6 years in GB.. it seemed to me that during most of his INTs he was mostly frustrated/pissed off. I honestly believed he threw the INTs on purpose. My best friend (Packer fan living in West Allis) believes the same thing. How else does he throw 5 INTs a game?

beast (7h) : Supposedly Steelers will be trading WR George Pickens to the Cowboys for a 3rd and late round pick swap
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Ravens release Justin Tucker, err D. Watson Jr?

dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.

Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Cowboys 1st round pick Tyler Booker will indeed be bringing his pet turtle to Dallas with him

Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : beast, according the Falcons statement Jax came across it on an ipad. If I had to guess, probably an open spread sheet or something
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Simmons put up an emoji with cheese.
beast (27-Apr) : Not sure anyone is interested in Isaiah Simmons... Collin Oliver might of taken his potential slot
beast (27-Apr) : I'm going with Jax Ulbrich is not telling the whole truth... he accidentally came across it? Why would a defensive coordinator have a QB #?
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : He's not that great, but final piece of the script.\
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : If we add Isaiah Simmons, book your Super Bowl tickets
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Colts 1st round TE Tyler Warren also got prank called, was that Jax Ulbrich as well?
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Jax Ulbrich, Jeff Ulbrich’s son, released an apology for his role in the Shedeur Sanders prank call.
Martha Careful (27-Apr) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Shough is the guy who missed guys at combine isn't he?
