If I'm not mistaken, don't the Packers usually work out players within a couple of days after they play their games?

I think it's quite common across the NFL... doesn't mean we'll sign him.

Either way, considering that the top 4 D-linemen on the depth chart were injured and not practicing today.... I don't think it's strange to see people being tried out.

Many teams use Tuesday as a day for tryouts. They usually dedicate one day for a position or two. The Packers have always brought players in on that time.

I don't know this for a fact, but I read somewhere that the scouts never have much time off and work year round. Meaning, someone could be signed at anytime.

At least no person has typed that Ted Only brings in "Cheap" free agents because he is a money hoarding incrustation of a human, who may live an alternative lifestyle.
