I was on the fence about him after the Tampa loss just like everyone else, but what I saw last night was awesome. The play calling was great. We threw so many different formations and plays at the ravens, while maintaining a balanced offense. I also like how he likes to go deep from time to time. You need to take risks/shots down the field and not be afraid. He has also solidified the o-line. I love what Mccarthy is doing right now.

By the way, there are thread topics on the stormfront forums that are less ridiculous, more well reasoned, and more logically argued than this one.

Man, warhawk is on fire today, and I completely agree with him. McCarthy does not need to go. We will see how the season plays out. Given their talent, I think the Packers are a game or two worse than where they ought to be, but 8-4 is still pretty good.

I am a little worried that McCarthy could turn out to be like Mike Sherman--a coach who is pretty good but not good enough to get his team over the top. But as of right now, he is not on track for getting fired.

What was really encouraging about this game, and has barely been mentioned in this forum, is that the Packers played a very physical team and beat them at the line of scrimmage, on both sides of the ball. That is a very big deal, and McCarthy and his staff deserve credit for it.

first off, i realize my grammar sucks in the forum... i dont bother with spell check, and as you can see i often ignore capitalization and even some punctuation. mainly because when im talking packers, i figured its more about content than grammar. when im ranting, i like to just type away and let it go.
and i stand by my original post; i think we are succeeding in spite of him, not because of him. yes, the play calling has improved, but it took him how long to figure it out? i couldnt care less about his demeanor. and the mental mistakes DO come back to the coach. maybe a good deal of the interferance penalties were lame calls, but theyve been over penalized all year.

It does not follow that offensive mistakes are attributable to MM but offensive success (and we have had success at 8-4 with a four win streak) is not. It is simply logically inconsistent to make such an argument, especially without basing your argument on anything other than the way you feel.

Well, I guess then we will just need to have another poll to see how many people think I shouldn't have a word here if we happen to lose a playoff game. At least I'm not negative 90% of the time and have a hidden agenda with the HC with targets that move all over the place.

After last year it was FIRE HIM we had a losing season.

Then earlier this year it was FIRE HIM he can't even put up a line that can block.

Hell, five weeks ago there were people saying fire CAPERS for crying out loud

Now it's FIRE HIM even if we MAKE THE PLAYOFFS BUT lose making the same mistakes we've made in the past. Finally, now, it's an admission that you will stop harping only if we win the SB.

So whats next? Sometimes I think I'm replying to Bobble Heads with a spring for a neck and your heads just bouncing all over the place while you hit the keys attempting to make some sense about you.

You know I've said this so many times but I guess it just has to be brought up again. We watch EVERY SINGLE PLAY the Packers run. We do not watch ALL the other teams play with anywhere near the scrutiny we give this team.
All TEAMS have an identity. Part good and part bad. All teams evolve over the course of a season to what they are now. Part good and part bad. The best teams have more good parts than bad BUT they have their bad parts that they continuously have to work on.

But of course we should FIRE the HC because he hasn't fixed the bad parts REGARDLESS of the fact our RECORD shows we have far more good parts than bad. We should all also ignore that the team continues to improve. The defense is RIGHT where we could hope it to be right now and the 0line is FAR better but the COACH needs to go because of these messy things he just can't seem to fix.

Bobble on.

First off.. there is no reason to have such a poll... your viewpoints are very welcomed and appreciated here by the overall population.

Second.. MM, staff and team deserve a big old high five for knuckling down after the Bucs loss and getting to some of the brass nutted issues on this team and how to overcome them.

Not all HC have the ability or openness to embrace something of that nature. There is no doubt if we make the playoffs and a run.. I think that meeting and loss will be the defining moment. And MM and staff should get as much credit as the players in that respect.

When we were struggling on the oline and as a team.. I thought that he has the entire year to get graded upon.. and a playoff berth shouldn't lead to a change IMO.. once your in.. anything can happen.

Now.. the inconsistency of the oline, the penalties and special teams shouldn't be glossed over either.. I think a couple adjustments still need to be made in the offseason.

We need to address the next generation of Tackles.. evaluate the interior of line.. get to the root of the penalty problem.. and I hate to say it, but Slocum might be a one and done type coach... I still don't understand hiring from a staff the had subpar special teams.. I think they need a new direction. Speaking of new direction.. Campen and Fonteno should be replaced as well..

MM has guided this team to the brink of a SB.. and seems to have the offense clicking through the trials of this year.. Capers and company are getting it done on that side.. a little more tinkering.

I would like the original Poster to tell me who the hell it is that he wants hired then?

Name the coach that

A) Would come to Green Bay

B) Not screw up Aaron

C) Mange to keep Capers

D) Win the Superbowl 4 fucking times in a row.
