Well I have a little secret for you. MM isn't going anywhere so get used to it.
The defense you talked about was his call in the first place, which by the way, took large nads in that HC's in the NFL don't have long leashes and that was a huge gamble on his part.

Then, you talk about the offense like it's nothing and McCarthy has put up a top 10 offense every year he's been here and that's with a team that has gone through SERIOUS flux. This team has transitioned QB's, FB's, HB's, and probably seen 30 different OL combinations since he's been here. All that fielding the youngest team in the league.

Should McCarthy see no credit for how well Rodgers has come out and taken over? Mac's been with this guy from day one.

I got more news for you too. He hasn't made any significant changes in the 0's scheme's either. The 0line has just started blocking the way they are supposed to. I still want to see any proof that we don't throw the ball downfield just as much as we were earlier in the year. The only difference is now the line is blocking so some here want to think that's because we don't go downfield anymore which is just a croc.

We're 8-4 and you want the HC fired? That's beautiful. Somebody can start a poll to see how many SECONDS it would take for some other team to snap him up. 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 45 seconds, or 60 seconds. By the next mornings newspaper the guys gone.

Rodgers said that they are calling more short route quick passing plays. And they are not throwing as deep as often.

Other than that, I agree with your post.

mike mccarthy is garbage. the majority of the recent success is attributable to the d, which comes bac to capers. yeah, mccarthy figured out that a quick hit Offense with some straight ahead running was the way to offset a nonexistant o line, but it took it 2 damn months. and the insane number of penalties... penalties are a sign, in most cases, of either over aggressiveness or LACK OF DICIPLINE. and in our case, its far more of the latter.

conclusion: mccarthy needs to go.

You are about 3 weeks and 4 games too late.

Sacks are down, penalties on the O-line are down, last nights birrage of pass interference calls was IMHO 1. just ridiculous(both ways),and 2. Young guys still learning to play their new positions.

I do believe after the Tampa game everyone came to the realization that if things didn't improve there would be major changes at the end of the year, still a lot of football to be played, I personally at this point am going to back off on the fire MM posts, he has till the end of this year to prove the last 4 games were not a fluke.

Winning football is back in Green Bay for now, until it goes away I am going to enjoy it, I personally am not going to ruin a good run by complaining about the players and coaches who are currently responsible for this streak.

I will agree from a play calling aspect I am sure not a ton has changed except that they are relying on the backs almost primarily to pick up the blitzes than leaving the TE in and shifting more protection in.

But the presnap communication has become very dilberate and effective.. that leads me to believe that we had some serious communication issues in pre-snap reads. You hear very distinct chatter inside out... starting with Rodgers and Wells... rewind early in the season that wasn't there.

IMO.. Tauscher and continuity is starting to assist the performance a ton.

McCarthey is not a high charismatic fellow, but he is a very good quarterback's coach that was elevated to OC to head coach. Boys, look around the league, we are running out of coaches and you want to shitcan a more than adequate coach.

Wasn't this only the second time that we fielded the same starting Oline lineup two weeks in a row? Maybe three times, need to check the starting lineups again.

McCarthy will be judged on wins and losses.

If you want him fired root for the Bears, Steelers, Seahawks and Cards over the next 4 weeks.

It would seem he won't be going anywhere for another year at least.
