Ravens running back Ray Rice wasn't very nice, either. This is what he told Drew Olson at OnMilwaukee.com: "To be honest with you, it was just Lambeau Field. I didn't see anything special. They put us in the middle of nowhere and it's not a real exciting place. Everything about this place is terrible, to be honest with you."

I read these comments by Ray Rice and I thought back to my early years in in grad school in Iowa City.

Some opposing team whined about how much Kinnick stadium sucked. And Iowa and its fans took great umbrage at how anyone could say something ill about such an iconic place.

A little bit later, though, it was revealed that Hayden Fry had had the opposing locker room painted in a horrible shade of pink.

And so my first reaction when I heard Rice's complaint was....what color is the visiting locker room painted at Lambeau? Do they have to share a too-small number of toilets? Is there a hot water problem? etc.

Then I realized. Wait a minute. The Green Bay Packers have more class than Hayden Fry had.

So, in the end I came around. Rice is in fact, probably a pinhead who doesnt like winter.

The older brother of a friend of a friend of mine played Ray Rice in high school. Back then he was All-American or whatever, big hyped up running back. Anyway, this guy went up to Ray Rice before the game and said, "good luck." Ray Rice replied, "I don't need no luck. I'm Ray Rice, I'll shit on you."

Needless to say, I'm not surprised about his comments.
