So what did everyone think of all the pass interference calls in Monday night's game? I thought every single one of them was correct, plus they missed at least one on Tramon Williams. He was horrible. He needs to play better. Kudos to him for hanging in there and getting the big interception in the end zone, though.

They seemed pretty legit. Quite frankly, without it a lot more TDs would have been scored. Perhaps some better position coaching is required, but it seemed all reasonable enough.

Just mentioned this in another thread.. this is one of the first games were I thought the PI calls were too tight... didn't matter which team just really too tight.. some of them were just a little positioning.. a few were no doubters but some were ticky tacky in my opinion.. even if they benefited the Pack.

Ironic thing is probably the worst PI play of the game on Tramon didn't get called..

Looked this way to me. Every call looked legit, and the way the game was being called, they definitely missed one on Williams. I can't recall ever seeing that many in one game before.

Some officiating crews just call things closer than others.
I figure one of the reasons for GB being the #1 rated defense in terms of yards allowed is that the other team gets the yards via penalties instead.

I thought too many were ticky-tack calls ... let the men play some football; both these teams obviously were wanting to be physical.

That said, there were some that were obvious, and Tramon's that wasn't called was a big break for us.

The bigger problems were, IMO, Clifton's blips, Crosby's miss, STs letting a big return happen AGAIN, and finally the drops by so many of our plays - Jennings on the top of the list.

Also a little concerned about Grant fumbling again.... but we played a good game.

They all looked like they could have been called but some of them weren't really worth it.

Most of the calls against both teams were legit, but some I really didn't agree with. That being said, they still need to play a cleaner game and shed some of these unnecessary penalties.
As mentioned above, Clifton gets too trigger happy, and I get irritated seeing Crosby miss his FGs. These 2 things alone can make all the difference in close games. If you need the FG to win, your kicker MUST make it! On a 3rd and short, a false start can make the difference between a simple run and a risky passing situation.
As for good things, I thought Rodgers had a decent game. On that first pick, at least he didn't give them the ball with good field position (although still a poor choice imo.) The OL has done a much better job in recent games as far as protection. Aside from penalties, pass protection was good. At least with those penalties you know they are being agressive rather than passive.
With the above said, I have seen much improvement this part of the season, and look forward to more victories!

They were pretty much all "technically" correct but being that strict on calls is just dumb sometimes. Kind of like how you can "technically" call holding on pretty much every play.

Williams better stop that arm bar or we could have the next Carrol in a hurry. Once you are known for it... the calls will become even more ticky tacky.
