Porforis - States don't print more money. California is bankrupt. My unemployment checks this year were paid for the US government instead of the state of California because the state of California has no money.

I feel bad for the people who were getting IOUs from the state of California. A lot of banks in this state had specific signs up that they don't accept IOUs.

Somewhat of a funny story on how I got my hands on an Arizona. The coin store I tried going to no longer existed, so since I was near the bank anyways, I stopped in and figured I'd try my luck with a roll of quarters. Just to be sure, I checked to see if they were selling any state quarter sets or individual state quarters, she said no but asked which one I was looking for. I said Arizona, she said that that one is apparently really hard to find and everyone is looking for it. I got my roll of quarters anyways, when I got home I found not one but two Arizona quarters in there. 🙂
