Nice!

We want a dog, but we need a house with a yard, first. Until then, I'll have to deal with this stupid cat.. lol

It's called a toy poodle. WAY under-rated to the male species. Mine freakin fetches ALL the time and can pick up a football by the laces. Not to mention he can jump just about anywhere.

Yeah, but our apartment doesn't allow dogs.. And if we were to try to sneak one in, there's no promise on keeping it quiet.

I think that is the only one of Crichton's books I haven't read.

My favorite novel author, by far.

I have read and re-read that novel until it's tattered. I've read most of his novels (multiple times), but certainly not all. Andromeda Strain is one of my favorites, though I think State of Fear may be his best.

Have you read Travels?

Holy Hell.. I had never heard of either 'Travels' or 'State of Fear'.

Airframe, Jurassic Park, Lost World, Congo, Sphere, Timeline are the ones I read when I was in high school.. I know I've read more.. But those are the ones I can remember from the top of my head.

Jurassic Park, Lost World and Congo were awesome (I read those when I was in junior high), too bad the movies were nothing like the books.

Airframe is an excellent novel. Very educational. Disclosure is also fascinating.

Travels is his autobiographical account of his experiences as as medical resident at Boston General Hospital.

I love 'Airframe'.. You learn so much about that industry.. and it has been the reading that book along with 'Foley is Good', Mic Foley's autobiography that has turned me off from 'investigative reporting' and the media in general. lol

I remember seeing something about his experiences in a hospital, I didn't know it was called 'Travels'.
