Green Bay has the NFL's No. 1 defense, but the Packers are soft up front.

What? 4th against the run and we are "soft up front?" Child please!

He should ask Peterson just how "soft we are upfront." Aside for one good 33 yard run in the two games he averaged 2.4 ypc on 49 carries. Even with his long run he was barely at 3 ypc on 50 carries.

We're #2 with 27 takeaways?

YES! :thumbright:

Stuff like that is what I love. Notice who is #1. No coincidence that they're, what, 11-0?

Takeaways stop drives immediately. The Saints stopped 32 drives with Takeaways, and if I'm not mistaken, scored a lot of points too with those Takeaways. I think Sharper alone has 3 TDs.

Seems most in Baltimore have the same idea. This an excerpt from a story by Bruce Raffel.

However, if the Ravens go back to the formula that had them beat the San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers and almost catch and beat the Minnesota Vikings, then they can certainly hang, compete and even defeat the Green Bay Packers. That means going back to the old fashioned gameplan of giving the ball to our running backs and let them wear down the defense with the pounding form our big FB and the darting around by our elusive RB. Then throw when they least expect it and are forced into tougher coverages as they creep up to stop the run game.

Again I have total confidence in The Packers front 7 to stop the running game.

Throw when least expected? Woodson,Collins,Bigby,Williams, throw at them let's see the outcome.

Talk about your statement game....This could be another for The Packers.

I like tramon williams starting and has a chance to show what he got. I hated to see AL harris go down but I want to see Tramon show his talent now. He has very good awareness on the field. Let's knock them Ravens out this week.

What I love about Trambone is plays like this, 2008 week 6 pick vs Seahawks . Watch how he is able to actually turn his head when the receiver looks for the ball and makes the play. Not a great throw, but other CBs would have let that bounce off their back or run flat into the receiver and get some laundry on the field. His pick against the Lions this last week was a gimme, but least he made the catch. He has dropped a lot of balls in his young career, but even Collins has gotten better at ball skills. I give a lot of credit to Whitt Jr and Perry for improving our secondaries ball skills.

Soft up front? We still have some concerns no doubt, but being soft up front is not one of them!

dfosterf (17h) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (17h) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
