This Baltimore game is very big.

Agreed. Although if we are going to lose a game, this would be the one to lose, as its an AFC opponent.

How does this sound?

Wildcard round:

#6 Philadelphia defeats #3 Dallas
#5 Green Bay defeats #4 Arizona

Divisional round:

#6 Philadelphia defeats #1 New Orleans
#5 Green Bay defeats #2 Minnesota

Conference Championship AT LAMBEAU.
#5 Green Bay defeats #6 Philadelphia.

I've seen 1 wildcard team make it to the Championship round, never both, odds say it will happen sometime, might as well be this year!!!!

It's amazing the changes that 12 days in November has brung for The Packer nation.

Now 10 days to rest and get healthy, then the real play-off push begins.

Going to be interesting.

One problem and thats the Eagles are actually ahead of us if the beat washington on sunday. Means we would get NO and they lose to minn conf final GB and Minny
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Eagles would be a scary team to face......they have Michael Vick and a lot of weapons around him. Defense is pretty good as well....

Oh well, that is all speculation. Maybe we should just focus on this Baltimore game haha.

The sleeper team to watch is Atlanta...5-5 with the next 3 games at home, with 4 of theri last 6 at home.

As you said Packers win out and they will be in, just looking at Eagle,Giants and Falcons remaining schedule, IMHO Packers can afford 1 more loss and still make it to the play-offs, 2 more and it could be an iffy situation.

Stats:
Week. . . . . .12. . . ..13. . . . .14. . . .15. . . .16. . . . . .17
Dallas (8-3) W........vs nyg...vs sd...@no....@was......vs phi

I think 10-6 definitely gets us in. Eagles and Giants and Falcons beat up on eachother and ATL has to play N.O. As long as PHI and GB get 9 wins, maybe 10, they're in i think.

Always the realist!!!!

The Packers aren't playing perfect ball, they never have, but of all the teams listed, how many at this point in the season are playing better than The Packers?
We beat The Cowboys(who by the way we really have to root for now to knock off The Eagles and Giants).

The Giants are a mess right now.

The Eagles have been up and down.

The Falcons(as I posted earlier)is the team I most worry about, just because of their schedule.

Packers need to build on the success of the last 12 days, and make that play-off push that good teams do at this time of the year.

We Will see!!!

One at a time..Balt. a week from Monday!!! The games just keep getting bigger!!

As long as we win the last 2 games of the year and enter teh playoffs with momentum, anything can happen.

I say that we go 3-2 down the stretch and just sneak into the play-offs. We'll have some momentum coming off of 2 wins.

I don't see how we can beat an aggressive defense like the Ravens' and Steelers' at this point, although both teams have been really up and down.

It might just come down to who has the better day. If the Falcons defense comes out, underachieving and not getting any pressure, we should run away with that one. If the regular defense comes out, we're screwed.

Same goes for the Steelers.

I don't think that the Cardinals are all that good. We should move the ball quite easily against their defense and, although we won't shut Larry down, putting Woodson on Fitzgerald should make for Kurt to throw some interceptions.

They seem to be tied to eachother, something like Stafford and Calvin, but just a little less. Shut his main receiver down, and he'll get desperate. Throw interceptions etc. Much like we saw last night, but then on a smaller scale.

And I think that the Bears and Hawks are must wins the way they're playing now, although you never know with the Bears. With a little help from Cutler, we should put them away. Especially now we actually have Tauscher back.

It's very interesting right now. We basically have a whole second bye week to get prepared for the Ravens because of the Thanksgiving game (10 days). However, I hope it doesn't make us lose the momentum our three game win streak has given us.

One thing I've been thinking about is the fact that we have a 3-4 defense and so do the Ravens. Now, if I'm correct in the assumption that our offense practices regularly against a base 3-4 we should be well prepared for the Ravens. Not to mention that we are playing at home in prime time. In addition the Ravens' defense is a drop off from when Rex Ryan was their coordinator and Fabian Washington just got put on injured reserve. It's interesting that in this game I'm going to be more worried about the Ravens' offense than their defense.

Our playoff outlook is great right now mainly because the top three teams in the NFC East play a round robin in the next five weeks essentially eliminating one of them from playoff contention. If we win three more games we're practically a shoe-in for the wild card. The only team we have to look out for is the Falcons. Of course even though everything lines up we still should be attempting to win out. Now is not the time to get complacent, we have to bring it together now for the home-stretch.

One thing I think that needs to be pointed out is the fact that our last game of the season is against the Cardinals. This is important because the Cardinals can clinch their division relatively early because their division lacks competition. If that happens we may be facing their second strings depending on whether Whisenhunt wants to rest his starters or not. If that game becomes a must-win we might be in a better position to succeed than most other teams.

dfosterf (2h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (2h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (2h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (2h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (2h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (2h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (2h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (2h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (2h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (2h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (2h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (2h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (3h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.

dfosterf (4h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
