Q: How surprised are you that you won the division?A: I won my division? I really didn't know that. I knew I had a 2 game lead, but with 2 to play, I thought I would need at least 1 more win to clinch the division. I must have the tiebreakers on the others.
Q: Right now you have the number four spot, do you plan to boost it up at all?A: Looking at the other division leaders, I don't think there is a chance for me to move up. I will be happy with the # 4 slot and see where I go from there. I am hoping to get another shot at Ted Thompson Destroyers, I had him on the ropes when we played in the regular season, but got a bad performance by I think my recieving corps didn't come through and I lost.
Q: What do you think of the rest of your division and do you think any of them have the possibility to sneak up in the playoffs?A: As far as wins and losses, our division seems to be at the bottom, I'm not exactley up on how many teams will make the play-offs, but there are some strong 2nd and 3rd place teams(record wise) in the other divisions so I don't see anyone else getting in.
Q: Which player has been your season's MVP so far?A: Everbody is going to love this one, it has to be #4, Brett has put up MVP #'s almost every week. A close second has to be Beanie Wells, I was #12 in the draft and didn't have a shot ar one of the stud rb's, but We;lls has come on strong the past few weeks and has put me over the top in a few games.
Q: Who scares you most coming into the playoffs?A: Everyone, as I stated before, there are better teams(record wise) in every division, with 20 teams, and the trading deadline being over, everyone has to go with what they have and IMHO my lineup does not stack up to the other teams in the playoffs. Of course that is why the game is played, I'll be the underdog and see if I can sneak up on my opponents.
Q: Which player has disappointed you most this season?A: Just to give you an answer I will say Steve Smith, he had very small numbers up untill the last couple of weeks.
I remember I was working during the draft and I wasn't at my computer when my turn to pick in the 2nd rnd came, I was going to take a rb with my 2nd pick, but the computer chose Steve Smith, it all works out in the end..I guess.
