Did you update your DIVX?
What do you mean you can't get the PC onto your network? What is the specific problem? Is your wireless not finding the network?

No, it's a whole lot simpler. I'm sure I'll find it when I screw around with it a little. It's just that I'm not used to Vista. All I have to do is get it into the local network in my house. The one where you can see what you and other people on your network are sharing. I'll find it out soon enough, it's just a little frustration on top of this annoying Mike McCarthy thing.
I did update my Divx at first. Then it recommended deleting it when installing some other codec pack. Which also got deleted when I tried to next codec pack (K-Lite or something) which didn't smoothen the vids I play in my WMP, but still doesn't allow me to save anything.
The movies are all AVI's. Maybe if I change that into Mpeg4 or WMV, they'll work better with WMM. Although I'll have to find a program for that.
Of course, I could've saved myself a lot of time by transferring everything over to my laptop right away. Asuming it does work on there. I just hate it when something doesn't work, though.
