Anyone else not really getting the whole Colts are the best team in the league and Manning MVP thing?

Manning is have an unbelievable season but I feel Brees is the MVP by far.

Who have the Colts beat? They play crappy teams almost every week.

I work with a Colts fan, and I hear it every day. Just to get him fired up, I remind him of last year's playoffs against the Chargers (can we say Sproles?) HAHA!

Was that insane or what? I've seen enough wild Colts comebacks to never count out Manning, but I'll admit I thought they might be done tonight trailing by 13 late. But to have Bellicheat hand you the ball on the 29 yard line? I can't believe that's how it played out. That was the dumbest play call I've ever seen! He should have just waved a giant, white flag.

Let me get something out of the way - I hate the Mannings. I hate Peyton, Eli, their Dad, their Mom, their cars, their houses, their CD collection, their lawns, and even their dogs.

But after watching last night's game, I'd have to put Manning above my favorite player ever for MVP. I hate saying that.

So right now it's Manning, Brees, Favre for MVP. We'll see how the rest of the season plays out, but that's how it is as of 11/16/2009.

I could see all three of them get an award.

Peyton Manning - Offensive player of the year.
Drew Brees - League MVP.
Brett Favre - Comeback player of the year.

Manning and Brees are innerchangable.

I don't think the Colts are overhyped. I still don't really like their defense, but that offense pretty much keeps them in any game. They're certainly no the best team in the league. I'd give that honor to the Saints and Vikings right now.

The Colts' D is #1 in the NFL right now in the only stat that matters - Points Allowed. So it's not just their O that is winning games for them.

As of 11/16, I think they're a better team than the Vikings or the Saints.
