You can say I'm bitching all you want, but the fact is, the team had this epiphany right after it probably no longer matters, after it's too late for them to make a significant different. Yes, we're "only" one game out of the wild card, but there are some decent teams ahead of us in that queue. And have any of our recent victories come against winning teams? In order for us to secure that wildcard berth, we're going to have to beat some winning teams.

If they wanted to impress me with their newfound humility, they should have stumbled across it before it was too late. Anyone can ask for forgiveness once they've been caught with their hand in the cookie jar. It's the person who reaches into the jar, realizes what he's doing, and pulls out his hand -- and has the integrity to confess what he just did -- that impresses me.

Packers are one game out of a couple teams.
The teams in our win/loss percentage are not that decent.
I don't mean any disrespect, but I don't think the Packers give two shits if you're impressed by their humility and I don't think they give a damn on trying to do so.

It's not too late. Half the season is over. HALF. Not 3/4, not all but two games. HALF. There's plenty of time for teams to flop, to rise, to be inconsistent, etc.

Again, HALF the season is over. HALF.

Albeit not much to instill faith in, but it sure would be nice if Packers fan's actually displayed some faith in their team instead of being whine asses all of the time.

Sunday nights and Monday's are the whining days after losses. Not a Friday before a game!!

Explain to me how it's relevant to this discussion if the Packers care what I think about them. Of course they don't care -- that's a given. If they cared, I'd be on their staff. Your comment makes no sense.

When have my comments ever made sense?

Anyhow ...

Well, if we're going to delve that deeply, we might as well come out and admit the whole idiom of "makes sense" doesn't . . . well . . . make sense. In German the phrase is "has sense," which has a lot more sense, in my opinion.

See Wayne? (WPR) It's ALWAYS the GD Cowboys.

By hook or by crook, by failure elsewhere, or by sheer karma/joss...

The GD Cowboys. Our season on the line, there can be little doubt.

With their massive o-line that is purpose-built to compete in the NFC East...that our d-line bounces off of (backwards)

9-21-2008

217 yards on 35 carries in Lambeau. On the ground, much less the air.

Romo has all day against good teams, much less ours. I will be amazed if we pressure him at all.

Too late fellas. We are what we thought we were when we got our asses handed to us by the Vikings. This game will only reinforce the reality. If they could not muster the [insert all factors] to beat the Vikings, they damn sure are not going to do it this week against the GD Cowboys.

The Green Bay Packers made the Tampa Bay Bucs look like contenders.

We could not hang on either side of the line of scrimmage with the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Romo would have to have an epic failure day. Unfortunately, we seem to have the capacity to make him look like a superstar.

So NOW everyone is on notice. What a sad joke that is.

oh, gee....just give me some sense will you? And while you're at it, give me all your dollars, too.

Signed,

This may be the signature game of McCarthy's career. Can he find a way to resurrect this team's season from the ashes, or will the team simply collapse into oblivion?

Part of me hopes his longevity in Green Bay hinges on the outcome of this game.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
