Can't link from my blckberry but apparently. S Anthony Smith was cut by Rams he should clear waivers. I think we should bring him back. Defense played with a lot more attitude when he was around also gives better depth.

I kinda agree, but don't have a really good feeling about this. To be cut by the Pack at the end of training camp after having signed him to a FA contract w/bonus, after the Steelers made little/no attempt to re-sign him, and then to be cut mid-season by one of the worst teams in the NFL. Something's just doesn't smell too good here...

Yeah he played well in the preseason. So did the offensive line.....(preseason = meaningless)

He was just cut by the Rams. Think about that.

To say he's a "savior" is obviously an exaggeration.


However, I still think he's solid depth. Is Martin really better then him? I really don't know, I'm just asking. It's definitely something to look at I think. It's a little different to compare him to the rams as they run a different system. Perhaps that system just doesn't fit him very well. Just because a player gets cut from one team doesn't mean that said player is worthless. There's an infinite number of variables that go into that equation.

But like I said, I hope we are at least taking a look at him again. Can't hurt.
