It is more about the way he conducted himself after leaving/returning/leaving GB that pisses most off....dude acted like a 2 year old pitching a fit at the check out line for candy.

The fact he is with the Queens only amplifies the disdain I hold for him. While I personally would not boo him, I begrudge nobody their choice in how to treat the turd.

I thought this country fought a war 150 years ago over freedom of choice for all.

This is off topic I guess, but the American War of Independence was fought between 234 and 226 years ago (1775-1783). We did fight the Pig War against Britain 150 years ago (1859), but I don't think you were referencing a dispute between the boundary between the U.S. and British North America.

Anyway, yeah, it's a free country but that gives us the right to protest the government, petition for redress of grievances, maintain freedom of the press, etc. Even if the War of Independence can be said to have something to do with Favre's freedom to go to the hated Vikings, it gives the same freedom for fans to boo the man. Not that they should. It's not very classy and I'm surprised Henderson would boo him.

I can't speak to what the Pig War has to do with any of this.

I ask people this did we boo Carson Palmer, Dante Cullpepper, or the other qbs that have played at Lambeau, but now people say we are to boo him because he plays for a rival? Get fucken real it will make Packer fans look bitter and disrespectful, but then again from what i have seen on this board most are bitter. OBI i totally agree with your 1st post and like Zero said about MJ is very true and alot of players thrive on being booed and play better. So all you IDIOT LOW CLASS so called Packer fans go ahead and boo, but i won't be one of them. I will show respect to a Packer legend that was no longer wanted in Green Bay. Before you start the he retired shit remember he came back and was traded. So go nuts and show how classless the Packer fans have become. I mean we are already turning into a laughing stock of alot of other fans, might as well show them they are right.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be šŸ™‚ (PS, Zero should charge for this)

When I read your posts I hear the grownups in Peanuts cartoons. "Wuh-wah Wuh-waaaaaaaahhh."

I'm willing to bet Palmer and Culpepper were booed - I'm guessing pretty much any player wearing an opposing team's uniform is booed. Don't like it? Watch golf.

Oh give me a f$#$@#% break with this class stuff. We boo the Vikings all the time when they come into Lambeau. So, yes, of course Packer fans booed Culpepper when he was on the Vikings. Favre is a Viking. Vikings are our hated rival.

Stop with this high and mighty "class" BS and be a proud Packer fan. I'm not saying you have to boo, but this is a classic sports rivalry. Booing will happen, regardless of Favre being on the team.

For real. Booing the Vikings has never been a big deal before why should it change? Some people just want to cry about it now because their hero is on the other side.

When the Vikings come out of the tunnel Boo! Nothing wrong with that.

As far as booing Brett during the game.... That is counter productive.

Booing is NOT LOUD.

When he is behind center I hope the Packer Fans are SCREAMING and STOMPING their feet on the bleachers.... I hope this is the loudest they have ever been. Step it up 10% louder than they have ever been.

That will result in productivity from flags and not allowing him to audible.

Booing is just not that loud.

Even Aaron said the Offense could have been more productive in Minny... But he could not audible at the line due to the noise.

Great post, and exactly how I would feel.

If I were in your shoes, that is.

Seriously, though.. I don't get people's reactions about this.. I boo every opposing team that comes out on TCF stadium. I don't care who it is. Why? Because it's what we do as fans. For the next 6 hours, HATE that other team, and BOO/CHEER for them to lose. I don't care WHO'S the QB.

Yup.

But, I'm willing to bet Favre has dealt with louder stadiums than 'Lambo'. Like Qwest and the Dome in '98.

I'm not worried for my team come Sunday when it comes to dealing with the rowdy crowd. I'm more worried about the balanced play calling I want to see from the Vikes O
