It looks like the Packers and Vikings schedules are the same except Giants/Panthers and Bucs/Cowboys.

That's how the NFL scheduling works. This year, the NFC North teams play the NFC west, and the AFC North.

There are 2 games every year that are decided by where teams finished the previous year. Since the Packers finished 3rd in the North, they play last year's third place team in the South, (Tampa) and the third place team from the East. (Cowboys)

The Vikes finished first, so they play the Panthers and Giants.

Yep, aware of that. Thought it was (but dumb) neat, that's all because I thought there was some chatter about who had an easier/harder schedule. Yet, it looks like its the same. I thought there was more of a difference though. I thought it was 4 games different.

So at the end of the year, no one here can bitch about the Vikings 'soft' schedule and how it helped them win the division.

It actually would be based on how much better the Vikings are over the Packers. 😃
