Be it the Browns or the Lions, a win is a win.
There was marked improvement in vitually every facet, although I wasn't really impressed with Williams return skills.

Holding two NFL teams to 3 points over 8 quarters of football impresses me and gives the players something to grasp onto and build upon. It also gives us fans hope and comfort.

Our players have to feel damn good about themselves going into a big game next Sunday.

Gotta give some "love" to Jolly, Pickett, Jenkins and Raji though.. those four were knocking some heads around today as well..

Jenkins vs. Thomas was a absolute treat to watch.. two very talented players there.

In the highlight video of the game on PH, Raji destroyed a double team for a TFL when they were near the goal line. Love to see that!

I told you all before not to give up on Nick Barnett. The guy's a stud. He's near 100% healthy and he's solid.

Porky - well written. Zero sacks was key, as was Grant not going down with arm tackles.

Is Lang the answer at OT (don't care which one frankly)? I hope so. So far so good.

My notes from the game:
Not only did we run the ball, we stuck with it. They started with 10 runs and 1 pass. That's heaven as it worked and you have Aaron Rodgers and you don't need to use him. The key to all of this is that our run blocking wasn't allowing any defenders in the backfield. It's not that Ryan Grant finally got it going, it's that Ryan Grant finally didn't have to handle defenders playing halfback. Quinn had some good lead blocking as well.

Lang is an improvement over an injured whomever.

Jermichael Finley - How is he? I hate to lose him.

What THE F, is wrong with our P/K returner. Catch the ball, run north! Make the first guy miss and keep moving down field. We HAVE got get yards on our returns.

Bigby - I never thought I'd be saying this but thank god he's back. I didn't know how much a difference he makes, or even how. I watched and didn't see a difference but our secondary plays better when he is in there. No thanks for the personal foul though.

Rodgers played well.
Donald Driver rocks.

More quick slants please.

Kampman needs to be set free to rush the QB. Forget about dropping him in coverage. Give me pressure. All game, all season. Let Kampman rush.

Clay Mathews looks good. I have nothing to knock AJ about, (thank God!). Barnett is looking faster.

Why can't we run the ball on short yardage goal-line? Is it that we kept going up the middle? I'd prefer to send it off tackle, or outside, take Lang's lead (he's not oursized like wells) with a Quinn lead block.

McCarthy has got the eliminate penalties, even the aggressive ones. Play hard, play clean. If we eliminate penalties, we'd be undefeated this season. I would think that would merit some time to address it.

What is the deal with kicking it off out of bounds twice??? Don't fear Cribbs. Run him over.

Woodson and Harris both played well today. Very well. I am happy with both. usually there are a few 'gimme' plays that they let go. Not today.

I saw more movement within our D line. I like the way they switched up their personnel, their formation and the tactics. Good work Dom.

How about that 99 yard drive??? That reminded me of the one that Brett put together in Tampa Bay. Of course that was against an excellent defense; however, this one still pleased me.

I was enjoyable to see Ahman Green on the sidelines again. That made me smile.

All i can say is, see what AR can do when given time??? He can pick apart a defense with the best of them. Plus, he has a cannon for an arm.
For those that think he's a "choker", well, you are wrong....period. The kid is VERY good.
