So Winfield has a fractured foot and could be out for 4-6 weeks.

This is huge for us for the upcoming game. I just fast forwarded the Vikings game but it did not look like Big Ben and the Steelers really picked on the CBs in place of Winfield but I feel some of those guys are horrible.

We should take advantage and forget about trying to concentrate on running or anything. We have to keep them honest with a decent rush but it is the Vikings and the Williams wall. We can win this game throwing. That is huge loss for them.

This is a huge loss for the Vikings. Although their front seven is among the best in the league, Winfield is their only good DB. Not only is he good as a pass defender, he also provides great run support. The Packers should be able to exploit this situation and get some big plays against the Vikings' secondary.

and LOL at Childress and the Vikings. Why was Chester Taylor in instead of AP at the end of the game to even be involved in that INT play?

This is why I love that they have Childress because the talent on that team is crazy but luckily we have Childress. I would be heartbroken if he ever got fired.

Sidenote, that play where AP ran over Gay and then stepped over him and kept going for another 20 yards was awesome to watch. He is Barry Sanders/Walter Peyton/OJ Simpson/Eric Dickerson, etc.

If Rodgers gets the time, and Jordy can get healthy along with Swain, it'd be great to be able to deploy the Big Five.

That is, if Rodgers can get the time. Thank God the Vikes aren't on that Humpty-Dump speedy turf this time around.

AP just made the run you mentioned a play or two before that interception. He was catching a breather.

Next to that, it was a screen pass. They where in their two minute offense. AP isn't a good receiver at all. Taylor is usually in there for their screens and passing situations.

That was on both Chester and Brett, anyway. Brett threw the ball too high. Taylor could've still grabbed it, but it went right through his hands. Bad play from both sides.

Winfield may be out, but here is an important stat for me: Favre threw 51 passes today.

That's a heck of a lot, it'll be interesting to see how he rebounds from that next week.

Add to that, that Favre was sacked 4 times today... well the Packers better realize the Vikings game is very winnable.

Absolutely. He's like Sayers with more power. Scary.

OT: This really is a big deal - if the OL can somehow dig deep and pull out a solid performance we've got a real shot at this one.
