As afar as I am concerned, this is the biggest contribution to the abnormal 6-0 start for the queens. This has alot to do with 3 easy games at the beginning of the season (Rams, Browns and Lions). Don't focus too much on the win against the Ravens but the fact that the Ravens actually managed to make the vikings earn their victory with some bruises. Another rough game against the Steelers will maybe soften them up nicely for us in two weeks:

"Peterson says he's fine after ankle injury: The Vikings had two more scary injuries in the fourth quarter. Running back Adrian Peterson hurt his left ankle while it got caught underneath Baltimore's Dannell Ellerbe during a tackle.

He limped off the field and sat out a few plays during Minnesota's next series, but was back in for the following possession and said afterward he was fine.

"I was in some pain. It wasn't broke or anything, so right now it's feeling real good," Peterson said.

Wide receiver Percy Harvin also aggravated an injury to his left shoulder that had him listed as questionable for the game.

Harvin got hurt while being tackled on a kickoff return and was later taken away on a cart.

Minnesota cornerback Antoine Winfield left the game against Baltimore with an injury to his right foot. "

So you take 3 easy games and then 2 games the refs that were surely had the vikings interest (re-watch the niners and our game if you dont believe me).

Ill watch the ravens game this week and see what I see about the refs.

I don't understand. I am pointing out that the Vikings are lucky to be at 6-0 due to avoiding the injury bug and that this healthy streak has been stopped by a tough game against the Ravens and ideally another tough game (and loss) against the steelers so that their roster is depleted two weeks from now.

If we had Bigby, Raji and B-Jackson healthy in week2, we might have beat the Bengals. Keeping player's healthy is obviosuly very important and not easy to do. Ideally we win against the browns without sustaining any major injuries and face a beaten down vikings team two weeks from now.

Haha, when I wrote that, I didn't realize how it could be interpreted. It was Not intended to be a jab at packers or packer fans but after reading it again, there's almost no way not to interpret it like that.

The quality teams who have the fewest injuries generally have the upper hand during a season. The Vikings have been hit hard by injuries over the past several years and that has led them to end up with a worse record than they would have if not for the injuries. It happens all of the time and will continue to happen. A few injuries to the Vikings and a few healthier players for the packers could even out the season record between the 2 teams.
