I think people should not react too soon. We did just play the best offense in the NFL. They put up 40 pts in both of their first two games and we gave up 27 pts to them.

I'm no worried with James Jones, he looks like a guy who isn't totally healthy and is a little rusty. With our depth, we can afford to stick him 4th or 5th and let him heal up.

I read that Jones re-injured his knee very early in the game. That's why he couldn't finish the game, and it very well may have affected his concentration as well as his ability to get open. On one play the defender got his hand in there to knock the ball out. It was not a drop. I don't remember if he actually had any drops.

I think James Jones will be a great receiver for the Packers for years to come. I'm not going to get concerned because he had one bad game when he was playing hurt.

This makes me wonder ... do players let this bother them? "should i play 80% and take what comes or sit out and come back full strength?"

The coaches could think just like some of you. He can't catch, can't get open and what not.

An 80% James Jones is better than a 100% Jordy Nelson, notwithstanding Nelson's little game of pitch-and-catch with Aaron Rodgers against a prevent defense near the end of the game. So they did the best they could with Jones. It didn't work out, unfortunately. Sometimes you just don't know until you try.

hope he just got brusied he will be good for us d.d dropped a pass to not that he would have been able to catch it anyway t.o dropped one guess jones will be fine just pointing out some catches you think you have and wham on the ground t.o was open when he dropped it :icon_smile:

WR's sometimes have troubles catching the ball. Losing focus easily can lead to many drops. I played WR in High School and I never dropped a ball, but sometimes you go through slumps where the things you normally can do, just seem impossible. JJ will be fine.
