Well, the one thing I am not worried about is this being a trap game or the Packers looking past anybody at this point. They will be looking to improve and to fix the issues that are haunting them.

Teams on a roll coming off wins against tough opponents are subject to letdowns. That is definately not us.

I'm going to make a bold prediction: This will be the first week the Packers don't allow an opposing defender to post a multiple-sack game. We can do it, I know we can!

I am worried about the Lions because they looked okay against the Steelers, and okay is good enough to beat the Packers if they don't play well. I think the Pack will win, but I wouldn't give them a lot of points.

I made the same prediction in the Rams game.. we allowed 2 sacks total... Foster lost. 😉

MUST WIN GAMES.....Lions,Browns,Vikings,Tampa Bay!!!!!!

Take them one at a time, and get this team back to where it should be.

Anything less, IMHO heads should start rolling, and I'm not talking about the players.

I think that the Packers will win this one in a shoot-out. We have such an advantage on offense over their defense. Their D-line is decimated by injuries, they traded their only good DT away and even when healthy don't have that much of a pass rush. Just take a look at their game against the Bears for instance. It was a shoot-out that the just couldn't hold up with.

Just take a look at their stats, really. 32nd in points given up, 27th in pass yards and 22nd in rushing yards. We should have a field day against them.

I think that we should just try to play balanced defense against them. We should be able to get to the QB in this one. We really should. Kevin Smith, Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford are quite a good combination, though. If they get clicking, we should be worried a little. Like I said, though, if you bring pressure against that O-line, both the running and passing game should be going nowhere. Maybe we might give up a big play, but I think that that's the way to go in this one.

By that little summary, we should win 14 - 35. I think, however, that we'll find some way to let them score points. We did the same with the Rams. They kept finding the soft spots in our coverage and this defense just isn't playing like one unit.

yes, we should worry. our o-line is awful. to many penalties, turnovers, and blown coverages on gameday.

ya we gotta get rid of the penalties.. but those penalties against us during the MN game were complete BS. an Maybe we wont have as many blown coverages now that we'll be getting Atari back. God I mean we were actually playing jarrett bush..

Hence why some of us have been spitting tacks the past couple weeks over a rather questionable final cut in the secondary.. Bush is not someone you want in your base defensive sets..

Ya no doubt we could have used Anthony Smith.. It really made no sense to cut him. Even Woodsen agrees us.

And what the hell do the packers see in Jarrett Bush?

One thing... versatility..

We get to bitch about him on defense at corner, at safety and special teams. Trifecta of caca.

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!

Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
